Just to balance it a little bit, not saying you're wrong, but McGoldrick was very impressive against USA.
Personally I think Stokes should be given more of a chance as a pure striker.
He impressed me against Germany and Kazakhstan sufficiently enough to be given another chance.
Madden too impressed me against Wales.
I wouldn't necessarily hold what happened to him at Yeovil in the Championship against him.
Both can play on the wing too and both have shown different sides to their game over the last couple seasons.
Sheridan and Mason too. I would give all four of them a chance in the WC Qualifiers what with four strikers in their mid-thirties and McGoldrick being cack.

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
Westwood constant smiling said a lot to me.
Squad to be named in approx. 5 minutes.
Neither.that he knows he isn't in the squad and saving face by looking happy and unperturbed.
Westwood is in the squad, according to Dan McDonnell.
Westwood McGeady and Meyler make it
Randolph, Given, Westwood
Coleman, Christie, O'Shea, Keogh, Clark, Duffy, Ward
McGeady, Hendrick, Whelan, McCarthy, Meyler, Quinn, Hoolahan, McClean, Brady
Walters, Long, Keane, Murphy

Pleased Westwood has made the squad at least. When I saw Forde coming on tonight, my heart sank.
Arter doesn't make it. Nor Gibson.
I was really hoping Murphy played his way out...
