Write them down boys. Dundalk and Monaghan to improve massively this season. Dublin to stroll to victory and feck all to split 2nd from 6th. Limerick to build for the future. And Cobh to beat Monaghan twice at Colmans.

    Strachan on Rooney:
It's an incredible rise to stardom, at 17 you're more likely to get a call from Michael Jackson than Sven Goran Eriksson.

You and Peter Pan would want to wake up .... you'll be late for school !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Athlone seem to be making some good progress during the close season, might be a bit of a dark horse. Monaghan have also made some handy signings, don't know how there managing to pay these players thou ? But they would want to make a MASSIVE improvement if they want finish that high ! They were by far the worst team i saw last season.

The nearest we'll get to Europe next season will be the trek to Derry!! You never know, it might happen twice.

If that was true, Derry would have 16 odd trips to Europe next season! Of course not, lads.

Derry is however, the nearest Rovers will get to playing in Europe for another year.

Going on signings, pre-season matches + other stuff i think ive changed my mind...........

    1. Shels - by a long way.
    2. Bohs - better than expected season
    3. Cork - in fighting will distrupe there season
    4. Longford - very close to cork
    5. St. Pats - much improved with some good signings
    6. Drogs - dissapointing after all the signings
    7. Rovers - good signings, well clear of the relegation dog fight
    8. Derry - a work in progress
    9. UCD - safety not an issue
    10. Waterford - very poor season after last seasons exploits
    11. Bray - push waterford all the way, stay up via play-off
    12. Harps - only relegated on the last day of the season - VS. Bray
