Oh no not them again
Harps to go down Shams in the play-offs $hel$ will probably will it again. In 1st division no one really stands out maybe Home Farm or Kildare. Fingers crossed it will be Rovers that go up but we're going to need a lot of very good signings
Have feeling Waterford will be a suprise relegation candidate. Can very good when on form(that black right winger is a great player) but if they went on a bad run of games and got sucked into a relegation battle I wouldn't fancy them in a dogfight.Anyway my league prediction:
1 Shels
2 Cork
3 Bohs
4 Derry
5 Rovers
6 UCD
7 Drogheda
8 Longford
9 Pats
10 Finn Harps
11 Waterford
12 Bray
Beavis,
that black fellah, Jose is gone and what have I said before about writing us off.

Dublin Harp, have to disagree with you. This is Limerick's year. Promotion is our target - it might not be this year - but no more re-election for us.Originally Posted by dublinharp

1. St Pats (Sorry, I just can't bring myself to pick anyone else)
2. Cork
3. Shels
4. Drogs
5. Harps (Will be the surprise team)
6. Bohs
7. Longford
8. Rovers
9. Bray
10. Waterford
11. UCD
1. cork/shels (would go for cork for very narrow victory)
2. shels/cork (ditto)
3. bohs (getting bottom line results but all mid tablers could make this spot)
4. drogs
5. longford
6. ucd (has to be surprise team from div1, i'll go for college)
7. derry
8. pats
9. waterford
10. harps/rovers (go for harps here winning well fought battle over rovers)
11. rovers/harps (ditto)
12. bray (not up to it squad-wise)
Think the top and bottom are easier to predict with mid table providing best entertainment after shels/cork battle.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Predicitons 2005 season.
Three Tiers and I don't see it changing too much
1. Shelbourne
2. Cork City
3. Drogheda United (they will improve on last years outing)
4. Bohemians
5. Longford Town ( I think that this season will be more a league season then a Cup one, we have better personnel on board, beware the year of Deano.)
6. Derry City
7. Waterford United.
8. St Patricks Athletic
9. Finn Harps
10. Bray Wanderers
11. UCD
12. Shamrock Rovers
it's more on what I know rather than what I don't. Trying not to be biased. Might have LTFC up at 5th but there's never anything between 4th and 8th and that won't change. I don't see LTFC finish third or tenth, somewhere in between.
LTFC for 3-in-a-row....![]()

Bohs Win FAI Cup
UCD League Cup
Not a hope in hell of us winning the League Cup we are cursed in that competition... 20 years of not making the Quarter-finals broken by a run to the final in vain in 2000/2001. Otherwise spot onOriginally Posted by Caleb

Whatever chance of shel$ not winning the league they as guaranteed as anyone can be of finishing in the top 2.
I think (crappy) 12 team, 33 game league will mean huge gap between top & bottom 3.
Setanta Cup arrival means top 3 teams will have zero interest in league cup.
FAI Cup will have surprise winner & top league teams won't feature as distracted by europe.
