We play them on Sunday out in their place in the last 32 of the MJC.
Heard they have a lovely set up??
Not always the best footballing sides that win the league though. Not too easy to play football in Ralahine or Bridge Celtic, but ye found that out already. Rineanna on a miserable day, wonder will ye be up for that and of course I'm sure Avenue will roll over for ye as well just to keep the title in the town.Originally Posted by the boss

It will be interesting to see what the Clare League do to protect Davy Wall after his sending off for cursing at the the Cork goalkeeper,I wasnt aware that was a sending off offence????It would be diificult for the League to ask for the support of clubs and players if they risk suspension playing for Clare??
Lets see how well got and committed the League officials are now with the powers that be.

fair play coach, the site was getting messy. i hope you keep an eye on our friend , you know who.!! he is not representing any club.Originally Posted by the 12 th man
big match for avenue... looks like they have a favourable draw in the MJC. could really get to the semi final if their form doesn't desert them... star rvs not great from what i've heard ... their goalie is supposed to be handy... they robbed bridge celtic in the FAI and were unlucky to lose to dungarvan... home draw means a lot in these competitions. poor old carew park had 3 penalties against them in mayo last weekend... couldn't see that happening in limerick!!
to be fair to all they are a better side than bridge celtic, they are doing well in the premier in clare, they are still in the munster senior cup.Originally Posted by abbeyvale
heard that two of stars players got 6 months for fighting with each other but were back playing last weekend... are they eligible to play MJC??![]()

Think the star RVS lads that were fighting were in-laws. seems that one wouldn't pass the ball to the other....

Couple of big matches in the 1st division this weekend, here are my predictions:
olympic 2 - 0 avenue B
Burren 1 - 2 Kilmaley
Rock 0 - 0 Hermitage
Corofin 1 - 1 Moher
its where newmarket play their home matches... head out of newmarket on old n18 road. about mile and a half you come to crossroads. there used to be a tractor tyre standing up 'roll on d banner'. turn left there and its out that road a mile... the pitch could be any field but for some reason they put goalposts on this one... i'd be worried leaving a donkey on this pitch that he might hurt himselfOriginally Posted by old boy
