The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

Lees Road is not signposted yet. Take the Lahinch road off the roundabout, go 1/2 mile turn right at the signpost for drumcliff cemetery. Go through cross junction and the entrance to lees road is on your left.
result from last night
newmarket 1
cratloe 1
any other results?

I heard Rinneannas tractor boys deserved their win.If you look at their tem in the Clare People (CP) you'll see its not bad.Just saw this weeks Champion(CC) not much of a reaction the CPs brilliant opening shot for the season. But I wouldnt have expected anything good anyway.
must have been a different rinneanna team out last sunday v newtown as they did not look that great !!Originally Posted by shelbourne1904

looks like the league could be very tight this year
they ****ed up the avenue bridge celtic game. it never went to 2 all avenue went 3-1 up and bridge scored in the last minute. i heard from a great source that when the gaa is fading it will get even better coverage. about bloody time to. maybe each club should send the clare people soccer section to the clare champion. give them a much needed kick in the arse. a reporter from each paper was out in lees road getting team selections. one stayed and looked at both games (avenue v bridge and cratloe v lifford) didn't see the other one for long.Originally Posted by shelbourne1904

Bridge Celtic 0 - 0 Mountshannon
Bunratty 0-2 Newtown
Heard yesterday that lifford are paying that nigerian bloke they got off cratloe...the right back!! 40 euro a match and 20 if he scores....is he that good?40 euro.....![]()
he should be playing league of ireland if he is worth that muchOriginally Posted by Nibzer
anybody know is it rumours or any truth in it ....
i would imagine he would have not much loyalty to lifford if he only signed for de money ... !!..
maybee clifford can help here .. he said in earlier post lifford could not afford costs of lees road !!
first i've heard about manjr joining lifford.. i know mick kennedy was trying to sign him but to pay him maybe a little unbelievable.... solid player though!!Originally Posted by old boy
they are building there own dressing room and pitch facilities costing 400000, grants covering a great portion of that, so for the sake of a year paying 15,000 plus out to lees road dosen't make sense. i know there paying there trainer/ manager kennedy. heard that from a few reliable sources. i think playing one player over another is asking for problems. why him and not heath r iggey etc. he must have been on holidays with his training allowance as i didn't notice him against avenue.Originally Posted by old boy
newtown are the ones to watch this year. i think they will be there abouts for all five comps this year.

Im only going by what i heard yesterday at our match...was talking to the cratloe managers son and he told me!
So whats up with bunratty this year then?we played poor yesterday and still won 2-0...not sure if we were playing there A or B team!Heard they were having problems before the game and a few players walked out...so there might be a bit of trouble in the bunratty camp.Is davey hogan not playing this year or was he one that walked out?
