    That ref

Hi OldSpice, I won't disagree about Ref being rubbish,
but the quote I copied was the last one made from Hacker, Not you.
I think you got your wires crossed.
If he is "Biased" all i say is great but we don't know him any better than any other ref(Fact).
I don't know where he is from myself and quite honestly don't care, if we're to worry about that we'd have no ref's.
They have to come from somewhere.

Not a problem murphman, and sorry for any misunderstanding but please understand one thing. My rant or whatever it was, was purely a criticism of firstly the ref in question and secondly the Clare league for persistently putting him in charge of Bridge Celtic games. It was in no way aimed at Bridge Celtic either as a club or as a team. Like anyone else, you have to work with whatever you're given and I'm sure you'd rather have competent refs in charge of your games. If you go back through my posts, you will see that I have had nothing but praise particularly for the way your A-team are playing this season. I haven't changed my view that ye will win the 1st division....though that doesn't mean we intend doing ye any favours when ye come to visit!!!

    Well cousinsyl

I think the big question is , will bunratty take in in the a** from Bridge or put up some sort of resistance??? Will lads be driving the length and breadth of Ireland to play against Bridge as they did when we played ye???? and as I'm sure they will be this coming sunday..............

Not sure who drove the length and breath of Ireland "just to play against Oly"

The same team bar 1 played against Mntshn last Sunday. The same effort goes into every game I can assure you of that.

Lads, everyone gets Peed off about Ref decisions, Every team has hassle with Ref's, just get on with it as the saying goes "It'll even itself out over the season"

Its a ****e job being a Ref and often its ****e being a Player... at least they get payed for the grief they get.
his nickname is prince or princess??? something to do with him being a gifted player in the limerick league few years ago. could turn on a six pence and put the ball on the top of your knob. actually did anyone hear of him being punched in a game a few months ago???????? saw 3 or 4 games his done this season. thought he was pretty fair and accurate. slow to keep up with play. standard of refs is a big problem in clare. there was another lunatic from limerick a few months ago but i haven't seen him lately. was supposed to be a scout for newcastle and palace?????????????????????????
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

Drop JAJ down to Rat-town tomorrow evening with their boots and it should improve our chances.

Best of luck to ye tonight!!!!!!! Let us know in the morning how it went.

The Tullaban can be tricky but I suppose there are no easy games in this division really.

Anyone know if anything has been decided about Summer soccer. If it goes ahead does that mean that there is going to be a very short break between the end of this season and the start of the next or does it mean that theres going to be a very long gap ie not start next season untill Dec.

    Response to Kicks Question !!

There is a delegate meeting in the Clare Inn next monday night.

If there is anything to report from that i will post it here.

I do know that Jim Madden has outlined some kind of development plan for the clubs to try & progress with facilities etc. It includes going on football administration courses etc. As far as I know this will be one of the main topics up for discussion. The other topics will probably have something to do with the number of clubs dropping out of the league & summer soccer.

I also know that the league is distraught that so many of Clare's best players are going into the LDMC to play their footie nowdays. But sur in all honesty who can blame them.

As far as I can see doing so well in the Oscar traynor over the last few years has only attracted the Limerick clubs to Clare's best players & has had a detrimental effect on the quality of the league.
