Kilkishen can now only finish on 29 if they win their two remaining games the only way they can finish third is if Kilrush draw or beat Corofin.
Should be a cracker between Tulla and Kilmaley the tension should be something else, not sure when the game is scheduled for?

Looks like that point last night for Olympic could prove key for them. Kilkishen losing surprised me as they were in decent form but have lost 2 on the trot now.
Olympic are in the driving seat now as they know if they beat Kilkishen they are 3rd. Also if Corofin beat Kilrush it puts Kilkishen out of it before they play Olympic.
Tulla may get something off Bridge Celtic on Sunday if the Celtic lads take the foot off the gas. However if Bunratty B beat Tulla 7-2 I can only imagine what Bridge Celtic will do to them.
Tulla vs Kilmaley is down for next Wednesday the same night Olympic play Kilkishen.

Any Premier results in at all?
I could try a few comments mick but the site would just block them out. I've never been so pi**ed off after a game. I've recently made a few comments backing up Clare referees but last night it came back to bite me. We got a town ref for a game against a town team and he gifted them the first two goals. In his opinion "Accidental hand ball is not a f***ing free kick" which I can never forget since he shouted it straight into my face after one of their players controlled the ball with his hand 5 yards out from our goal with nobody near him as he scored their first. A few minutes later their centre half did the same thing right in front of their own goal as he cleared a dangerous cross. No joy there either. Their second goal was scored by a guy standing on our line and Frankie "reckoned" there were two defenders outside him. Bullsh1t!! Before we knew it, we were 4-0 down.
Having said all that, we were dire. Rock deserved to win the game and if we play anything like that next week, Olympic are in the play off no argument.

Newmarket and Moher was called off.
? Moher will be stacked with GAA heads for Newmarket game. Most of them not supposed to be playing soccer so wont go near Doora for cup semi vs Avenue B in case there are photographers/reporters there. If John Kennedy (Clare manager) found out they would be in big trouble. Newmarket should have enough to pull through.
Moher will be too physical for Avenue A though.
its a pity they're not playing rugby or boxing? (although dalton might be called upon) sure are they any more physical than bridge, newmarket, hay even cratloe have a decent physical gaa team???????
that where the ability to play soccer counts. the avenue lads can mix it if called upon. they had a good win over rineanna last night. the french guy davide (who they poached off cranny rovers) scored the first and was fouled for 2 pens. 3-0 up. rineanna got 2 in the last 8 mins. too little too late.
the only good thing if avenue beat moher is the title is coming back to town.
even better town news is that avenue under 11's won title monday. 11b's between avenue/lifford and fern. avenue won the u12's. guess who won the under 13's yap avenue. 14's 15's 16's has town teams in around the top 3. 5 youths comps between ya 2 town teams pike/lifford.
so the future is looking good for the soft townies.
ps don't worry all the big boys will be out for moher versus avenue b.

Mike Heath is the best keeper in premier and Anton Mannering best outfield player this season by a mile.
Must be joking bout newtown boys. Lindsay (and other lads like Noel Donnellan and Strettan) must be old enough for a bus pass! Twenty mins on Mannering and he'll be knackered for a month. As for most of other guys you list for premier team they wouldnt make Lifford youth team!

I think they are copying us at this stage.

Ye were lucky that day and ye know it. Agree that lots of good football played - but mostly by one side. How many games have ye lost since? Lets see next week how good ye are in Ruan. We're on a roll at the moment. Our lads are really up for it we're not going to get mugged again like that day

lifford are second in the league! the team ahead of ye "avenue" have beaten ye twice in the league at home and away and also knocked ye out of the cup away! so come down off tour highstool sunny! newtown are actually a great team when they want to be who knocked us out of the cup in doora! id put them down to beat ye twice! ye are a load of crap going on about injuries all season! we dont have the greatest team in world but we have fight which ye dont anton doesnt want to know bout it when push comes to shove as we showed him! we ll see him and his effectiveness against lindsay tonight! also johnny o coru is gonna absolutely expose conor clancy! but most importantly best of luck to lifford, i hope ye win all yer games so that we can beat ye for the fourth time this season in the league playoff final!
look at our goal difference. its going to be even better after two games against those old timers Newtown. They wont be able to live with the pace and skill of our boys.
Avenue had a good team a few years ago but most of your best players left. Only Rochford and Neilly left from that team. Ye even had to bring on Mannix in midfield in Ruan.

I reckon we could have an Avenue impostor on trying to get a rise from Newtown and the Bridge to take points from their local rivlas. It all a bit obvious really.
Is PlasticPitch out there. He is a genuine Lifford man who talks sense and I'm sure he will agree with my point.
ps Well done Bridge Celtic. They will give the Premier a go next year too I reckon if they keep that squad together.
