newmarkets pitch. Head out on drumline road (old main n18 road)there is a crossroads about a mile out (there used to be a 'roll on d banner' yellow tractor tyre at the cross) turn LEFT and its about a mile out the road... road is very narrow. pitch is on left behind a couple of houses and is easily missed but the cars parked will be best clue.....
As for a result i fancy newmarket... this is not an easy place to go. it is probably the worst pitch in the division and will not suit newtown/...only for that reason.

Ah ok so it's the same pitch the B team play on, thanks. You're right though it is a horrible pitch, for that reason I thought the A team might've played somewhere better.

Well for those of you who think you know something about soccer, we have just lost one of the Legends of the game, having seen him play in the flesh many years ago, I can say I am priveledged to see him play. Forget about his personal life on the pitch he had no superior. George rest in Peace!

I still have to see one constructive or even slightly informative post from you.
Do you even or have ever played football or are you just on the site because you can hide behind a persona and vent the venom that is so obviously burning away inside you . So **** off until you have some idea what you are rambling about

Only English Football? Pele was told once that he was the Greatest Player to play the Game, his response was no it is George Best. He would have been a sensation in the Premiership, he had the skills and the pace to beat any player he came up against. I could not see some of today's so called Proffesionals put up with some of the punishement George took!

Good story about George on the radio this morning.

He was doing an interview before an international between Holland & Northern Ireland when he was asked if he was worried about coming up against Johann Cruyff. His answer was hell no I'm gonna nutmeg him the 1st chance I get.

Anyway not long after the game had begun George recieved the ball in a central area & instead of heading towards goal he went in search of Cruyff.
3 Dutch players tried to tackle him but got nowhere before he got to Cruyff whom he duly nutmegged. He then jumped in the air with his arm raised to salute the crowd who were going wild.

    Legend !!

Did you pick Maradona as he was the only player you saw play? I am afraid you have missed Puskas, Di Stefano, Charlton, Platini, Beckenbaur who I would all rate above Maradona, here is an opportunity to name your geatest 11 playing in a formation of 4-4-2?

    1. Yashin
    2. Roberto Carlos
    3. Cafu
    4. Bobby Moore
    5. Dave Mackay
    6. Franz Beckanbaur
    7.Johan Cruyff
    8. Zinedine Zidane
    9. Di Stefano
    10. Pele
    11. George Best

Madmick Maradona was probably the most technically gifted player ever.

My all time 11 would be

    Paul Robinson
    Paul Stalteri
    Ledley King
    Michael Dawson
    Lee Young Po
    Arron Lennon
    Michael Carrick
    Jermaine Jenas
    Edgar Davids
    Mido
    Jermaine Defoe

    Come on you Spurs
