Rovers suffer stadium planning setback
SHAMROCK Rovers’ plans to move into Tallaght received a major setback this week after South Dublin County Council refused to further extend planning permission for the club’s sports stadium at Sean Walsh Park.
County planners decided “it was not clear that a further extension of the duration of this permission will result in the timely completion of the development”. As such, they refused permission to further extend permission for the project.
