Rovers nominate "home" for licensing
Shamrock Rovers have reached agreement with Drogheda United to play their home games at United Park next season.
The announcement means Rovers have fulfilled the licensing requirement of nominating a home ground.
It is believed that Drogheda provided the same support prior to last season and it has yet to be actually confirmed that Rovers would play their games in Louth. An agreement could yet be reached to share with a Dublin club.
In the past Rovers have been forced to play "home" games as far away as Cork in September 2003 as they sought a ground-share.
