I believe all FAI season tickets act as premium tickets for the Cup Final so that should account for a good few (although how many will be used on the day is another issue). Also dished out to Sports Council, important people, sponsors, and anyone pally with John D presume this is why FAI keep them to themselves.

.....don't actually want real fans cluttering up the posh seats

They go on sale to the public. It's just that the clubs' allocation are for the standard seats. Not a big deal IMO

Slatterys is the spot before the game. 3 or 4 buses leaving town at 10.45 to be up there for opening time

Are you sure about that? Haven't drank at the last few Ireland games as was driving but certainly remember buying beer in the Aviva before

Not sure about this year but Slattery's has remained closed in previous years on cup final days, not a round ball friendly pub.

Ya I think bar is open. Should be a good crowd from both clubs. Don't know how many we've sold ( seems to be a secret). How many have Dundalk sold.

It might be worth notifying them before hand. Either they may not be open or have minimum staff on not expecting a crowd.

Yes they have been notified. Few lads are in the YBIG from the Shed and that is were they go before Ireland games so they are aware theres a few hundred from Dundalk coming.
