    Aye just seen that earlier.

Have heard Dundalk have now sold their entire East stand allocation, most of their North and are on their second block of the West stand. Great news if true. Would assume that sales are going as well in Cork so could be a serious crowd at it.

One thing of note is that it has been tough for groups to get buses to run from pubs and the like. Bus companies from as far south as Athlone have booked out their fleets to run from Dundalk. There are a good few potential group bookings from scouts, Arch Club, Mens Shed and Pubs and the like finding it tough to organise transport for the groups. Could be to do with specific size of buses required so maybe so co-operation is needed to book a 52 seater say. Could Iarnrod Eireann increase the capacity of the train they are running to Landsdowne. €20 for a black and white check flag the size of a postage stamp i've seen on sale in town today too so people are cashing in (ripping off) on the interest!

News is very limited from Cork, but I expect that they are selling well. Given the geographic spread of Cork (county), I'd imagine a lot of their sales will be via Ticketmaster.

It's great that we will have big support in the North, East, and West stands.

I see that a Cork twitter account is reporting that Cork City have sold almost 3,000 tickets for the cup final.

Where you seeing that? I'd like to think that once the tickets go on general sale that we will see a lot more being sold for our end as a lot of people living away from the city might not have been able to get in to get them.

FAI Cup Final tickets went on general sale this morning.

This is the entirety of tickets available:

Excellent for those who want to sit in the middle of the Cork section.

Not so for neutrals or Dundalk fans unable to get to Oriel Park for tickets.

What is the point of paying for a report on the league if the FAI treats their "showpiece" with such distain?

The only tickets available online are two blocks in a corner, at the Cork end. On the same side as the TV cameras, incidentally. Did the FAI outsource the discouraging of ticket sales to Shamrock Rovers?

Its not the middle of the cork section though, they put more sections on sale as people buy theses ones. Tickets that aren't sold by the clubs will be onsale on ticketsmaster closer to the game.

Perish the thought that a decent crowd looking well on TV might happen at a final that doesnt include the FAI's Dublin darlings!

I PRESUME more sections will be opened?!?? Also, what happened the slightly posher 20 euro seats? No sign of them on the Ticketmaster website - or anywhere.

I've heard that so far there are 68 buses going from Dundalk along with the train and probably the same amount of people driving, pushing close to 10k at this stage. Just a pity the sales approach from the FAI is miles behind.
