Thats a good one Nempton....tell me who informed you of this little nugget of ridiculous gossip, and I'll be more than happy to answer it for you...
First let me say that for every rumour that you hear that there is some substance to it and don't worry Joe you won't have to look up a thesaurus or dictionary to answer me, just a simple yes or no will do![]()
I heard from Marvin Gaye that you might be our new scout. If so I'm a little worried, Colm Heffernan is a left winger![]()
Limerick 37, its so shiny and new we dare not take the cover off.

I seem to remember him play a season with Limerick on the left, with Shane O'Donoghue on the right, and Brendan Hughes and John Whyte in the middle. He also got his first Junior cap on the left. Sligo have used him on both wings...http://www.sligorovers.com/player%20...s_template.htm....Originally Posted by Nempton

You know what Marving Gaye would say if he was here. "Let me out!"Originally Posted by joeSoap

Joe - you still haven't answered the question.
Is it a yes or a no.![]()

As I said, Deise, I'll answer it when I know who's spreading the bullsh1t rumour....actually therein lies your answer.![]()
So that's a no then right?Originally Posted by joeSoap

Lads all this innuendo and speculation could be avoided if we all (myself included in case anybody's feelings are hurt by this) took a course in plain speaking. We could all do with keeping things simple, it would probably avoid a lot of the little 'misunderstandings' we've had in the last few weeks.![]()

Agreed...and yes, that is a NO!!Originally Posted by sadloserkid

I thought it might be nice to inject some light hearted humour around here after all it is christmas the season for festive fun![]()

And happy christmas to you too nempton....![]()
Actually I'd heard (from Luther Vandross) that Joe was going to be out new 30-goal-a-season striker. Is this true Joe and don't try denying it because if you deny it then it must be true. And there's no smoke without fire!Originally Posted by Nempton

Okay, okay, the cat’s out of the bag!! Here is what’s happening:![]()
· I’ve taken over complete control of the club, and I’m changing our focus from football to croquet. I believe it will attract a greater toffish female support to the club.
· We will continue to play football, but our first team will be a ladies one, so that way we can keep half of last seasons squad, but bring in some decent totty with my new found Abramovich style millions.
· Beach Volleyball will form the nucleus of our training sessions.
· Scantily clad cheerleaders will be in attendance at all games, and will provide lap dancing services to supporters at half time in games.
· No fan wll be allowed admission to the ground unless accepting free admission, and consuming 8 free pints before and during the game.
· I have bought Croke Park, and am arranging its transportation to Limerick, where we will play our league games, and host the odd Champions League and UEFA Cup final.
· Damian will be the Official Club Spokesman, dealing with the media on a constant basis.
· Referees will be offered inducements in return for numerous dodgy penalties and opposition red cards.
· The club colours will now be bright pink, with brown shorts and little yellow ankle socks. Scarves and other merchandise will be in these colours.
· Anyone with an opinion will be severely dealt with…..
Any more suggestions ??…….I really do see the above as the way forward….![]()

Initially the cheer leading and lap dancing will be carried out by Joe Soap and Sad Loser Kid, so as to attract more female supporters and avoid accusations of Limerick being a sexist outfit.![]()
As opposed to the current limited toffish female support.Originally Posted by joeSoap

Actually, in a dark light I've been told I can pass for a female so I might have near universal appeal.Originally Posted by observer
And leading on from that I think the club could always stage a Nativity meets traditional panto and myself and JoeSoap could double up as the ugly sisters. I'd also suggest:
Any three of the Kerry lads as Shepherds, we'll say JohnD and two players of his choice
John Purcell, Michael O'Sullivan and Ralph McMahon as the three wise men
I'm gonna allow others to add to this list because I'm bored already...![]()
