Gary McAllister was a good player not a great player as Dunphy has said.

DIEGO MARADONA by a mile. I remember around World Cup 90 when I was collecting the stickers and the Maradona sticker was worth 50 normal player stickers. Now thats a sign of greatness if ever I saw one.

Gordon Strachan -the major piece of the jigsaw that took Leeds out of the wilderness and back to the top.

Owairan -I know it's probably the only thing he ever did -but i could just watch this guys goal, for Saudi Arabia against Belgium at WC94, all feckin' day. Took the ball at the edge of his own 18 yard box and went off for a wee trot with it ...brilliant!

Tony Yeboah -for a bit of a fat lad Tony was great. Scored a stupendous goal against Liverpool at the start of 95/96 that the commentators said he'd never equal. He scored a mirror image of it a few days later against Wimbledon -but this time turned it into a half volley by way of a deft overhead flick that left a Dons defender wondering what planet he was on.
After that Tony did ...well not much really.
But i'll tell ya for that september of 1995 Leeds fans felt something similar to what the USA felt for much of 1945 and 1946 -safe and smug in the knowledge we'd a weapon nobody could match or predict.
