Barry Corr to Dundalk rumour at the pre-bonfire meeting last night
Pat Sullivan played his last LOI game tonight apparently, he's retiring. Presumably why he was let score a peno!
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Yeah Pat won't be back with us next season but I didn't know it was because of retirement. Another player who might not be with us next year is Davy O'Sullivan. A lot of handshakes and man hugs came his direction under the stand tonight. Lets just hope he just likes the affection after every game and that this is a weekly thing with Davy!
Just what I was told TL I wasn't there but that was the talk. Wouldn't shock me if Davy left either, I'm sure one or two teams reckon he can be a regular starter for them. He's had this season to adjust to Premier football won't be at all surprised if he knocks in more next year as he has nearly all of the attributes you need, especially pace.

Don't care about Sullivan or Rice for that matter. Decent players, but a seemingly bad attitude to the fans and club. As for Sully, I would be horrified if he left.

All signed up for Dalymount next season.
Derry City just confirmed Paul Hegarty will notg be taking the managers job due to personal reasons. Patrick McEleney away to Peterborough on trial, Mark Timlin wanted by St. Pat's. We only have 2 players in contract also. I'd guess a big re-building job will be underway soon. Also rumours the board is going to be replaced
Asked Sully if he was staying he said he hasn't spoke to Tony I'd be devestated if he left, the last 3 games prove how important he is to us. As for Pat Sullivan couldn't care less bad attitude and while Rice will be a loss it's clear that he wouldn't be able to play 33 games next season he'd have to play a rotation role and I don't see that working so maybe it's best he moves on. From the players I spoke to last night very few seemed to have discussed their futures yet so let's wait and see.
Dundalk also meant to be interested in McEleney if the trial doesn't work out.
