I'm sure you are looking for sponsors, but you rely havily on POS. That was apparent at the start of this past season. He reduced his investment and that cost you your spot in the Premier Division. I'm surprised at the response to this.

If Clonakilty decided they wanted to scale back their investment we would have forewarning and could go looking for a replacement.
The reduced investment in the team last year was because last November they started to realise the markets field was most likely not going to be ready for the start of the season so they scaled it back. Then in January they scaled it back again as they heard there would be a longer delay again. Then they had to organise Jackman Park for the start of the season which from what I heard was not cheap so again there was another scaling back of the budget. That was three times they had to adjust the budget. To allow for most likely smaller crowds and the extra costs of Jackman Park and getting it some way up to scratch.

Would that have been any different if it was sponsors money rather than Pats money? Who knows. With the Markets Field continually falling through the club were actually finding it hard to get more sponsorship in.

Basically the way I look at it is whether money is coming from sponsors, from one man, or a collective of businessmen, clubs in the LOI are still on a knifes edge and anyone could potentially fold or have to scale back to a complete amateur set up at any stage.

Aymen Ben Mohamed gone to Bohs, along with Kurtis Byrne.

Those signings have been officially announced. Not sure if the kieran Marty Waters signing is going ahead /has gone ahead. Three massive additions to the existing squad.

If they get Marty Waters too Bohs attack is lookin decent for next yr. And they seem to have re-signed the GK and most of the defence too. If they could just upgrade CM too they'd really be lookin good for next yr. They were a bit long-ball-ish at times last season. Lopes is a great worker and very committed but he's lacking in quality on the ball to be a top CM. Apparently Keelan Dillon has fallen out of favour too. Anyone heard if they're lookin to bring in any CMs?

Havent heard any CM rumours. Would love to see Ward come back from Dundalk( is he still there?)
Wearen on form is a good CM. Keelan Dillon fell out of favour with the fans before the manager, had a terrible second half of the season.

Rumour that Stokes going on loan to Rovers from a Glasgow club, possibly a football club. Lock up your kitbag Nutsy!

@stpatsfc: We have agreed terms for 2016 with Mark Timlin, Keith Treacy and Graham Kelly.
Not sure about Treacy probably squad filler, Timlin could be decent but don't know a lot about Kelly.

    Filler is right!!

you might have to fill the fridge in training to keep Tracey interested.
Are pats trying to break their own record for the "fattest fu**in footballer" award after their previous signing who's name escapes me but who lost his contract cos he was a bit too rotund
    michael somebody I think

Michael (Fatboy) Keane that would be. Maybe Treacy will knuckle down and get fit. Possible decent signing if he does. We'll see. Timlin from Derry looks quite good.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

    Treacy a squad player?

He will either get properly fit and be outstanding or remain grossly overweight and fail to even make the bench.
My money is on the later

They probably wouldn't put him on the bench, well if it was reinforced maybe.

But seriously though, if he gets fit, could be a very good signing.

Looks like gaynor is on the way out with rovers and pats interested

Dillon has signed for LTFC. It hasn't been announced yet but that's another story.

Gaynor is horrific. If anyone doubts me re watch the fai cup final. All he does is clip balls down the line to absolutely know body and is afraid to head the ball, it's embarrassing. Yes he can cross a ball but that doesn't take away from the fact that he gives ball away 8/10 times. Was the same at Sligo.

Another signing for Town apparently. John McKeown from Cabinteely. Their captain last year.

Cork's best player, by some distance. He's not a left back though.
