We'll miss Billys goals, but not his attitude.
True but sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.
Hopefully we'll get the goals from elsewhere.

Good signing for Cork. However, the issue for them is how they add goals to their game.

Good signing for Cork but will probably miss a fair bit of game time through suspension.

    Pats fans, any thoughts?
He was the best player in the league in 2013 and on his day he is still unreal.

He was one of many whose consistency and hunger was gone and it all went downhill after the Motherwell deal collapsed.

Not happy to see him go but it was inevitable, Pats have freed up a lot of wages with Forrester, Bolger and Browne gone.

I doubt he'd be bothered with all the travelling for part time wages. I'm not sure how much addition he'd be these days either.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

I think he might be Cobh's gain next season.

Bolger is class he would walk into the current Dundalk team and I'd say he won't be too far off Airtricity player of the year next season.

Dundalk fans don't rate him because of the disastrous spell he had there, he gets a rough time for refs who seem to book him when others are getting away with much more but that will be knocked out of him in Cork sure everyone knows they don't foul anyway.

Pats have lost two absolute quality players from the midfield in Bolger and Forrester and will have a job to replace them. Great signing for Cork.

While Bolger is a very good player, he wouldn't shift anyone from our midfield this season.

Second in the fair play league again this season behind the saintly Dundalk squad for the second year in the row.

Sick of finishing second to them.

We never committed a foul in the whole season, and they still beat us to the fair play award? Something a bit suss about that.

We'd want to put this runner's up carry on behind us next year though

Dundalk play by golf rules where they call fouls on themselves even if the ref doesn't give one.

    . Great signing for Cork.
He would certainly not walk into the current Dundalk side, he would be a squad player with limited starts, this is not discounting his talent as he is a decent player. Also he'll have a fair improvement to do to get into the nominations for end of year awards, but he has good ability, no doubt about that.

Good signing for Cork, he will definitely freshen things up for them in the centre, and this move is probably the right one at this point in his career.

#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).

Throw all the silver medals in together to make a trophy to award yourselves for most virtuous team, best marketing, best supporters, best ground or something or a combination of all - Ye know what they say about getting the monkey off the backs with a first ever trophy for the cabinet!

Well I don't think they say melt all your silver medals and make your own.

A poor man's Chris Shields. Decent player, definitely better than Cork's current midfielders.

Cork fans should realise that he has been fairly anonymous anytime Pats played Dundalk over the last two years.

He'll have to quit the yellow card habit to fit in in Cork City.
