    New fixture list...

The Licencing manual has the eL AGM down for the 5th of February next - isn't this when the new fixture list is (supposedly, anyway ) announced?

Yes and the guy in charge of that is also going to have an Eircom League Annual in the shops in time for the New Season. DOn't be surprised if the fixtures have a slightly familiar ring to it for clubs in the Premier last season i.e Round 1 may well be a reverse of last season Round 1

    2005 Club Licensing Manuel

The Football Association of Ireland launched its 2005 Club Licensing Manuel in November 2004.

The License, which every eircom League club must gain, covers all areas of the game. Clubs are guaged on sporting, infrastructure, personnel and administritive, legal and financial criteria and must meet the minimum requirements set out in accordance with UEFA.

Having been at the forefront of UEFA's Licensing programme in 2004, the aim is to maintain the progress in 2005 while a number of changes have been made to the Licence having learnt from mistakes of the first year.

In 2005, there will be three Licenses - a UEFA Licence (for clubs playing in Europe), a Premier Division Licence and a First Division Licence.
