Pronane, you sound like an angry mettler. We can't all like the same music. If everyone liked Metallica it would be a sad sad world.

As for the Streets, Dry Your Eyes I have 3 words..... worst song ever.

I'd have to agree with Take Me Out being one of the best songs of the year.

Thats your opinion on the Streets song then..worst song ever ,a tad childish that I think, but thats your opinion and I respect it.I wouldn't rate Franz Ferdinand at all, they are well overrated and it's all been done before, nothing new, crap clothes and crap haircuts

Now that you mention it, yeah! Definitely his best album since Vauxhall and I.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

Keane does sound like Coldplay/Travis... I think irish music has had a great year with Damian Rice, Paddy Casey, Snow Patrol, The Frames and theres alot more coming, so long to the days when U2 and The Corrs where our only exports with Thin Lizzy in our thoughts..

I'm more rock than rap myself but I have to say eminem's mosh is class. Other memorable songs would be Slither by Velvet Revolver

Its just my Comic Book Guy impression.
I don't like the song for numerous reasons. The Streets are wide boy Essex chavs with their Reebok runners, Ralph Lauren shirts and sparkle sparkle earings. Its a poor imitation of rap but at least there's rhythm in rap these guys just talk. Having lived in London people like the guys from the Streets got on my wick.

    Rant over
