    Whats a snug?
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

its like a little side room, except most of the time its just that the back of the sofa is high so you cant see in.

its like a drinking booth, you get a bit of privacy to have a little group social around a table of pints.

An Spailpín Fanach has three, one just inside the door on the right, one on your left in the "new" side, and one at the end of the bar on the right, where the trad session players hang out.

Can't remember the name, but the pub at the top of Summerhill has one or two also.

    The Tower

    Reidys Wine Vault

    Le Chateau

I'm sure Barrack St, Shandon St and Blarney St would have plenty also.

Why do you need to know?

The Tower - Immediately on the left as you go in.

Chateau - Far side of the bar as you enter Pana side. (well there certainly was one there 5-6 yrs ago.

Does the Gables have one? I seem to remember one there also.

I think there's one over to the right as you walk in the door but I could be mixing it up with somewhere else.

There's a room at the far end of the bar alright, that leads out to the entrance across from Beechers that was (no relation), but I didn't think there was a snug in there. Haven't been in that far in a while meself either though.

I was where Colm said only the other night and it's not really a snug.

The Long Valley does (or did) have a small room alright, but wasn't it a little bit big for a "snug"?

And of course there's the Hi-B, a snug all to itself.
