    Robbie Clarke

I see we have just signed Robbie Clarke from you. Just interested to know a bit more about him. What sort of player is he, a playmaker or worker, how is he on passing and tackling, and how do you rate him, is he a good signing for us and are you sad/glad to see him go.....
    so many questions, sorry.

So the trend is reversed! AFAIK, we were looking to re-sign Clarke from Dundalk, but Kildare obviously came in with a better offer. Didn't see him last season, but he was an integral part of the 2003 DC championship-winning team. Played mostly on the left side of midfield for us, although he may be more comfortable at left-back. Good young player, fairly athletic. Nothing special yet, but certainly competent enough at First Division level.
