it crossed my mind that if someone had a huge bet on say real madrid to win
it would be in their interest to see the game abandoned with 3 mins left and the game looking like a draw.
there were a series of floodlight failures in premiership games for a while with a similar motive.
When I went to see Real play about 2 years ago about half of the floodlights went out after about 20 min. I nearly had a heart atack! Thankfully the game went on though
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
