    Dundalk FAI Cup 21/08/2015

Looks like Enda Curran is not suspended and Colm Horgan Back from suspension are the only two to be added to Monday's panel. United always deal with adversity very well especially against the bigger teams. Last thin we want is a replay so why not go out and have a right go nothing to lose.

Funny kind of a game. Would love some success in the cup but with our squad being as thin as it is, a cup run might be the last thing we need. I suppose the pressure is off for tonight, give it a go and see what happens. Need to avoid injuries and suspensions. A win would be nice but a draw could be worse than a defeat!

Yeah - nothing to lose tonight and in some ways it will be the same on Friday in Cork so there's a bit of pressure off the lads.

It looks like Jay Molloy is fit too so we'll at least have 11 senior players with the u19s on the bench. It should definitely help those lads progress that they got 90 minutes Premier Division football under their belts.

    Hanley
    Raftery-Oji-Sinnott-Horgan
    Shanahan-Byrne-O'Leary-Molloy
    Keegan-Curran

Well beaten 4-1 but from the sounds of it we did pretty well.

Another 2 headers from set pieces was it? The way our season has gone it wasn't the highest priority game. Next week in Cork we could possibly get something if on top of our game - despite the scoreline they weren't great against St Pat's. After that we have Longford at home which will be a massive match. At least we got a few bodies back last night and with Connolly due back soon we could be close to our first choice XI in a couple of weeks.

Not just 2 headers from set pieces but completely unchallenged headers. I'm starting to wonder do they bother working on it in training during the week??

Horgan's free kick straight into Sava's hands before Towell's goal was criminal too. What's the point in bringing everyone up if you are going to do that? Seriously need to cut out the schoolboy errors or we will be in serious trouble.
