Gannon rules himself out of Stockport race
Dundalk manager Jim Gannon insists he is not on the shortlist for the vacant manager’s job at English League side Stockport County.
The Hatters are seeking a new boss following the departure of Sammy McIlroy last month, and Gannon, who spent 10 years at Edgeley Park during his playing days, had been mentioned as a possible successor.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
How many jobs has that lad ruled himself out of in the last few months?!?! And he hasn't exactly set the world alight at Dundalk yet (I know he needs time, but something like one win and five defeats against the top three teams isn't great).
