Thought it was a pretty good film myself, seen it a few years back, the main actress in it is from Bray (shes also the bird from the clodplay video that goes backwards, Elaine something or other ?)
I was at the test screening of it years ago.
I spent a good twenty minutes afterwards filling out the comment sheet detailing every single mistake with the film and would have been longer had they not pretty much pulled the thing out of my hand.
It is a terrible film and is also the reason I am wary about anything Cillian Murphy is in.
It truly reeks.

I haven't seen it yet (two years later)but am extremely sceptical. Saw him in Playboy of the Western World in the Gaiety. Poor production, and he wasn't up to much in it.

Some of the scenes for Disco Pigs where shot in goodtime charlies in Howth, Co. Dublin. I was working behind the bar back then and some of the staff me included got extra roles for the nightclub scene. I had to stand holding a pint beside this pretty hot young thing. Still haven't seen the movie and don't know if I can be spotted but was a fun day none the less and got 80 pounds to have a drink with a hot lady! RESULT!

Sorry -thought intermission sucked except for the opening scene where farrell chins the girl in the cafe.Originally Posted by Babysis

Also some very unrealistic almost christmas panto dialogue going on in it. (at one stage one supposed young Dubknack turns to another and proclaims that his "mind is just a swirling maelstrom of emotions" ...I mean c'mon!!!)
" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"
