Just my opinion on the AUL team and when fellas say everyone should put their names forward... Training twice a week with a match on the weekend is more than enough for me. Especially with work, family etc. so for me I wouldn't put my name forward to be selected if the chance arose

Innishvilla 5 Macroom 2 good game of ball on a great looking pitch . Innish started well and should have been 1 nil up but where unlucky when striker shoot went wrong side of post was all villa at the time . Macroom played some good ball but they go wide put final ball wasn't their but they worked hard and went 1 nil up from a deflected free kick . And that gave Macroom a shove in the right direction and they enjoyed a good 10 minute spell without really threatening the Innish goal . With innish playing some smart flowing football they came back into game and owned last 20 minutes where Macroom keeper pulled off some fine saves but couldn't do anything with the 2 free kicks scored and when innish winger was played through he made no mistake rounding keeper so innish went in 3 1 up . Second half innish started well and should have been 4 1 up after 5 minutes but went wrong side of post . Macroom kept battling away and forced some fine saves from innish keeper and their battling spirit paid off with 20 minutes to go to bring it back to 3 2 . Macroom pushing for a goal led to gaps at back and Innish sub was played in and rounded keeper to make it 4 2 and innish continued to apply pressure and got their 5 with 5 minutes to go . Win sees Innish top group and Glen go through in 2 spot . Some good football played and hopefully innish will continue to grow and improve good squad of players who have been knocking on door for awhile hopefully this might be their year .

Goals win matches and he seems to know how to get them , deserves to be looked at minimum , Ryan o Shea and John c could be a very good line if they click , not a bad option to explore for the aul side !!

are you serious ? the man is a great full back ? always gets stuck in and is a great guy to have in any team. very good full back & would 100% deserve a call up.

Yes I'm serious. Way better fullbacks out there. One player from Pearce I would have in the team is Alan Murphy. Super player wasting his time with pearse

Have to agree with Donal on this one scaffa ... Strand will be tricky .. Always get a game off those lads .. Also cup football always has a habit of an underdog upset. On paper should be a walk in the park for village but strand will have other ideas ...
