On the one hand great to see any extra coverage of the league but on the other f**k them and the bandwagon tied to the horse they're riding in on.
If Dundalk made the Champions League groups it'd be hilarious to see RTE and TV3 fight over who doesn't have to show their games.
Oh well Setanta would surely want to show Dundalk, but as far as I know the host broadcaster has a responsibility to cover their home teams so at least one of RTE and TV3 would have to. Probably both actually as they have alternating days. That's how it worked with the Europa League and Rovers anyway - TV3 couldn't just ignore us and show Celtic, which probably would have been a better commercial decision.
More exposure the better , Setanta do great work but only RTE can bring viewership in the hundreds of thousands.
Well that's Dundalk fecked.
