Well at least it shows who the FAI are leaning toward that they got involved. How was the chairman kept out of the ground and why would the Gardaí have been involved either. Should have called bluff and let the match be cancelled. Its not is if fixtures aren't backing up for clubs in Europe for it to be a disaster for Bray.

There was a decent turnout at the protest. Some very worrying things going on and the only hope is to keep pushing with the protest etc.
I have to say Darren Quigley has played an absolute stormer with keeping people up to date (I know some don't like airing dirty laundry) but it has to be done at this stage

Still able to beat us as well. Which probably says more about Derry than anything else.

Well it is questionable as to how both O'Connor and Kelly got made directors as I don't believe there was ever an agm/egm called to have them appointed.

I'm not sure that naming yourself a Director has any validity - even if the form is stamped and accepted at the front desk in the CRO. And I am sure the matter will end up down in the Four Gold Mines (as The Phoenix calls it). Time to cool it here, I would suggest?

If everyone stays reasonably sensible there is no reason this can't be discussed here.

My only gripe with that article is that he's tarring the entire league with the same brush. No mention of clubs cutting their cloth accordingly, running well, the proverbial other side of the coin.

So Deering - not a director - has signed a document appointing himself as a director.

Not entirely sure that's allowed tbh.

It got all very messy over the weekend. The O'Connor's turned up on Saturday morning only to find the Gardai there who would not allow them enter the ground and a bit of a stand off ensued, The FAI then got involved and told Deering that if the O'Connors were not aloud into the ground that the match would be called off and serious actions taken against Wanderers. So an agreement was agreed on, hands were shaken, that The O'Connors would be aloud in for the match but that they would be gone by Monday. As soon as they got into the ground they changed all the locks. Can't see then going away quietly, actually i can't see then going away at all today !

The FAI have 100% and in particular, Fran Gavin, have shown their true colours in siding with O'Connor. How they cannot see the damage that is being done is beyond belief.

On what grounds were the Gardai not letting them in?

Bray Wanderers granted temporary High Court injunction

The High Court have granted Bray Wanderers' owners a temporary injunction that prevents three individuals from representing themselves in an official capacity on behalf of the club. The three individuals are John Deering, who is a former director and minority shareholder, Paul Lennon, who had an agreement to sell advertising for Bray Wanderers, and the club's former goalkeeper Darren Quigley.
Deering is believed to have represented himself as the club's director, as well as being in a position to take over the running of the club. Lennon and Quigley are supporting Deering in these actions.
The injunction prevents the three men from entering the club's home - the Carlisle Grounds. It also prevents them representing the club; having or attending meetings relating to the club; or publishing any material purporting to be official literature about the club.
According to Bray Wanderers' current owners, the High Court injunction was taken in order to prevent financial and reputational damage to the club.
In an affidavit Bray Chairman Denis O'Connor claimed that minority shareholder Deering was engaged in unlawful activities, such as falsely representing himself to be a director of the company and claiming that he was about to take charge of the team
Saturday's League of Ireland game between Bray Wanderers and Derry City was said to be put in jeopardy when Deering arrived at the ground in the morning with a group claiming to be taking charge of the club's affairs.
After discussions Mr Deering agreed to leave allowing the game to go ahead.
A protest was held by supporters outside the ground before kick-off calling for current chairman O'Connor to step down.
Mr Justice Gilligan said he was satisfied to grant the injunction. The matter will return before the court next week.

I think whoever is doing all this company documents research should have a look at the companies listed here and see if there is a tie up in any way.
Word is this guy is currently funding the O'Connors and paying the players wages.

It's all becoming very petty and ugly.
