I can't see Shaw leaving unless someone pays for him. He's shown flashes of what he can do this season and he's not had a lot of service. He had a quiet game against Pats but there was that one chance he made for himself when he beat the defender for pace and the keeper made a decent save, then Salmon couldn't get the rebound. He's snatching at chances a bit at the moment.

I'd agree with that. He has had nothing but dirt given to him all year. I think he has moved on from going down in Tallaght instead of shooting. I think the miss in Tallaght hit him!

Also, any word on the Don? And will Doherty go into the squad for tonight?

A five figure sum, we could buy a lot of quality players with that. I'd take it. As for injury news Flynn is out for 7 weeks apparently but I just heard that from someone who wouldn't be ITK so that could be wrong. Don is a mystery to us all I can't see him being back anytime soon but he could just as easily pop up tonight

I normally wouldnt post after a match but wot a performance from us tonight! I didnt see Davy's goal as was in Bohs end selling programs but my faith has being restored! I was very impressed with Jack Doherty. That is such a boost to us and may be the turning point of our season! The confidence it will give us should change things for us!

Great win, couldn't make it due to a family occasion but delighted. Great to see Sully back on the score sheet and good to see Doherty apparently did well. Davy's up against better defences this year but he's still an excellent finisher if we give him the service. Only negative is another defensive injury in Rossiter. We could do with signing a centre back.

The morning after the night before. What a result and for the most part a fantastic performance. We tend to sit back after a set back and that's what we did when Bohs scored and we allowed them to play which we shouldn't have as they were there for the taking and we should have been out of sight at half time but none the less the likes of Gary Shaw put in a fantastic defensive effort and it was only just we got the late winner. Despite the small numbers in section O the scenes that followed the winner were absolutely incredible as were the players reaction to us at full time. Great to see Dave Sully back on the scoresheet you could see what it meant to him and he will go on a roll now, the white Pele is back!

Great to see Sully score again, you could see for his performance he just needed a goal. Excellent for the 90 mins, we haven't seen that in a long time. On to Sligo next weekend...

I thought the performance on Saturday night was brilliant. The best town performance that I have seen in years. Bohs are good side but we outplayed them for most of the match and outfought them too. Was hard to pick a man of the match but I thought Rice was brilliant. He got through a lot of work in the middle. Skinner's save in the first half was brilliant.

Mirror says Dean Kelly is signing for us from Bohs and this could mean Gary Shaw is off to Shamrock Rovers. Another top 3 club and a Championship club are also interested in Shawsy apparently.

Sun has online this morning that Kelly is signed. Great signing for us although i didn't realise it could be at the expense of Shaw. Hopefully we keep him a while longer and buy another striker if he does go but that's unlikely.

Initially when I heard There was a 5 figure sum placed on him I was wanting us to sell him and improve the rest of the side but after today's signing of Kelly it means we now have 3 out and out strikers with Kelly able to play on the wing also so if we are playing 442 and need a goal Kelly can come on up front for one of the SOS or if we start a game 442 and are under pressure we can easily drop into a 451 and stick Kelly on the wing, it's the perfect signing really.

I think with better service he could score goals in the Premier. He's quick for a big lad, has a decent touch and is very strong in the air. As an option for a squad he wouldn't be bad. Still only 23 or so. I don't see him playing in England though really.

I saw the piece in todays sun early this morning before heading to bed. Super signing. Dean Kellys goals against Shamrock Rovers were somethin else. Was he involved at all last saturday? I remember him playin for Shels two years ago- he also has huge experience from St Pats, Shams also. I am very surprised that Bohs are letting him go! I would be sorry to see the SAS broken up but we cant afford to turn down big money like that for Shawsie!

He wasn't in the match day squad. I wonder was it Kelly who got the taxi into town to catch a bus to Dublin after been dropped from the squad Sat night!

He's a good lad and decent prospect no denying that. Would be amazed if he were to ever make it even at league 1/2 level in England thou, but maybe with better coaching there's more to come out of him. As regards the likes of Rovers signing him. I don't know why they wouldn't give it until pre season, not sure they're stuck enough that someone like Gary is going to go in there and make a big impact, they'd be as well giving him another 6 odd months here to see if he's really up to PD level.

Gary has the potential to be a good player but his bottle in front of goals in the big games hasn't been there for us so intesify that pressure x100 at rovers and he's going to have to prove he can do it in the big games
