Friendly result from this evening: Benfica Women 1, WYW 1. Both teams ranked as third tier teams for Champions League purposes.

Half-time, Gintra 0, WYW 0. Two good chances for Gintra at the end of the half according to the UEFA website. Game being played at 33 degrees in temperature!

Final score Medyk 6, WYW 0. Really good side going forward, Medyk. WYW looked out on their feet from the hour onwards. Played at 30 degrees.

Final match of group: WYW 5, Cardiff Met 1, with four goals for Carol Breen. Very good effort from WYW to win two matches on first UEFA outing. As expected, Medyk Konin walked away with the group.

That's a pity. They done really well to get two good wins on the board. Pity they couldn't have sneaked a draw in against Medyk.
