    Robbie Forde

God love him, the fans will kill him after the craic with the ballboy a season or two ago.Seriously can't see that happening.Nope has to be Kelly to return.

Robbie McGuiness told me the other night that he was signing on with bray again....... The new list has removed his name thus quashing rumours of an exit from bray

I'm told that the keeper position is already filled from the Birmingham connection, hes on loan for the season and will be flying in and out each week.

Sorry but i don't get this fascination with Kelly. I always thought he was modest enough and a bit uncertain under crosses.

Derry manager Stephen Kenny hasn't made too many errors when it comes to judging players.

Think Kelly is a good back up to have, but we need an experienced keeper.

    well said in da red

i agree totally with in da red, kelly always played well in goals for rovers..... i hope that we sign him again even tho rousse isnt that bad, i just think kelly is better and less of a liability when it comes to crosses and cards...

the idea of signing a loan keeper is pointless.... flying in and out every weekend sounds stupid and expenive... i wonder if broujous is still fit...joke..

any rumour of us been linked to anyone...???

I heard kelly was on around Stg 500 a week at Derry, for 52 weeks of the year.If thats the case we cant afford him. There are not to many First Div clubs who could pay that type of wages. But he might take a drop in wages for regular first team football.

Obviously if the lads out of work then his options are open. Realistically he'll have to be looking at a huge wage cut should he want to sign for a club from this region. I'd say Rovers would have to get in line should they want to sign the lad as I'm sure the likes of Harps and Longford will be high on the buyers list. Rovers will be well down the pecking list. All those apart Rovers are not interested as Connor has his own ideas and he's going for the guy from Brummy on a see him now, now you don't deal, which I'll say is a totatal waste of funds. Time will tell.

As far as i can recall,Kelly had the number one jersey at Derry when Stephen Kenny took over. He made a couple of howlers and was dropped and replaced by Pat Jennings and obviously Forde has come in as well.

He's more likely to go to a Premier team. I'm not convinced by him though.

I expect our mate in the midlands will name this goalie and give us an detailed assessment soon when he returns from coaching Real Madrid.

Told tonight that the Birmingham keeper idea has fallen through. I guess the cracks are already beginning to show
