    current ticket pricing and renewals

    afternoon all
what is the current consensus on ticket pricing. Personally after years of buying season tickets and attending games I'm just about ready to pack it in.

    1) No renewal reminder yet this year (that I received) - open to being corrected...
    2) €16.50 service charge for 3 tickets if I decide to up my allocation? incredible.
    3) €12 per ticket charge for paying with installments? At worst, it should be per transaction. If it was annual I'd be more forgiving but this is beyond reasonable.

Yet again the FAI manages to miss the mark. Charging €75 for standalone tickets last weekend for a forgettable fixture is the laughable recent example.

given most folk here would go out of their way to attend matches away as well as home, does support extend to being bent over by the FAI in terms of ticket pricing?

the season ticket has been good value until now but I have yet to see next seasons prices. I have little sympathy for someone who can only get a €75 ticket for a glamour friendly given a season ticket is only about €100 or so more.

I have yet to receive a renewal reminder either.

    two points on that.
Firstly: why would someone who could not go to at least 2 or 3 of the season ticket matches buy a season ticket? Aren't people allowed to be slightly casual fans. There are not 50,000 fully committed people in the country...this past years season ticket did look especially good value given Scotland, England and Poland were good games to anchor it. next years not so much to the less ardent supporter. Charging those folks €75 is out of order.

Secondly, the ticket itself is good value and in fact the renewal price is good. It's the attitude to add-ons, service charges etc that I have an issue with.

I don't think there were add-ons before so this may be the first time. poor form if that's the case.

not all tickets were €75. there were much cheaper available as recently as last week

€50 isn't cheap either. Especially for a friendly. Those prices would be ludicrous for an important qualifier, never mind a meaningless friendly.

I've had no renewal reminder either, & I'm also thinking of packing it in. It will probably depend on Saturday's result.
I only noticed STs were on sale again at the England game when I seen it on the advertising boards around the pitch.
The pricing is on the FAI website.
