As per an interview with the "Silver Fox" in the City Tribune of the 3rd December, the following 11 players have been signed for next year :

Nigel Keady
Alan Gough
Nicky Curran
Derek O'Brien
Ryan Casey
John Russell
Padraic Lee
Mike Quirke
Mark Ronaldson
David O'Dowd
Marcin Szymanski

Symanski is a Polish full back signed mid-season, who has received international clearance.

David Cooke is being retained as he is on a scholarship with the club

By my reckoning, the following players are unsigned :

Mark Herrick
Damien Dupuy
Dave Goldbey
Adrian Carberry
Ronan Frawley
Robert Forde
Gary Fitzgerald
Conor Frawley
Colin Fortune
Mixie Harty
Barry Moran
Luke Byrne

Derek McCarthy has been released

Colin Fortune has now allowed his name to be added to the PFAI list, along
with Forde, and Nigel Keady. Keady's inclusion on the list is strange, given the managers insistence that he is under contract. Crossed wires someplace, methinks. The only other scenario possible is that another club would be willing to pay a fee for the defender. Implausible.

As far as i know, Nigel had signed a two year contract TWO years ago which is now up.
Dont think Tony approached him when the season was over, to sign again as he thought it was only last year Nigel signed it (therefore thinking there was another year left. I'd say that's why his name was given to the Tribune) Crossed wires is right.... If this is true, How could Mannion make a mistake like that??
