Barry Ryan in the sun today

Look At Barry Ryan said on the paper today.

Cork City gave me loads of abuse at tolka park one night and I heard it was on a web-site. "Barry Ryan is a legend" he took the abuse and had the crack with us.
Thats grand but some of the abuse I got was shocking "crazy".

Well if he did not do it he would not have got the abouse that night. He is making it out to be a big thing and it was a small bit of abuse at him.

Look at your cherman at the time and what he did that night. w----r.
Let's get it going for this year the away support.

In all fairness he did take a bit of stick on teh night but he has to agree, you get caught your gona get greif from the opposing fans !

Besides, I remember we all chanted who the f is Ekoku and he agreed with us by turning and nodding and we all cheer'ed him !!??

Just checked the Dublin City web site and he is not down as a first team keeper anymore - what he let go ?

Agreed that it's a good signing - always rated him highly and he seems to be a decent enough fella. If he thinks a few choruses of "Barry takes it up the nose" is shocking abuse then he needs to get real. When I think of things that we've directed at Molloy, Hawkins, fat Ollie and going further back the likes of Paul Whelan .... I'm actually wincing sitting here at some of the memories .... laughing as well though !!!!

He was only talking about the type of abuse he got, because no doubt these were the only questions the reporters were interested in. He said none of it bothered him.

But I do agree, it definitely part of the fun of the game. I mean how the hell can you be at a rovers match without giving Molloy grief, or at a Shels match without giving there Irish international jason byrne grief. IMPOSSIBLE

    Lightbulb

20 people standing behind goal out of 150 crowd might have "affected" Barry more than a few thousand where he can't hear each person...

He also can't be suggesting that City fans were the only fans to sing that at him...

Anyway he's a quality keeper, in top 3 in the league with Devine and Williams. In my opinion anyway

Thats not the new kit, it was just thrown together for photo shoots with new players. Smart Telecom sponsership is supposed to be biggest in LOI history. Hopefully we're back on track now

    No it's not.
Your sponsorship deal is worth 250,000 over 3 years and our deal is worth 750,000 over three years but I suppose that still makes your deal the biggest in LOI history!!
