I'm asking you to clarify the concern that at least one other poster here has also identified. Are you willing to do this for me? If you want rumours quashed prove it, give us some facts.

How much does MOS want is another question that anto1208 put out there that nobody answered. Can you answer it for us?

And lastly, Stalin wasn't a facist!
I never said anything about Stalin being a facist.....

I'm not prepared to discuss anything here until I'm in full possession of all the facts, and that it will be safe for those facts to become public knowledge. One such fact though is that Father Joe Young has had a huge say in who does what in Hogan Park, and if it wasn't for a certain individual forging a close relationship with him, then the deal would never have gone through. Fr. Joe had a big say in who's name went on that lease, and held all the aces in this case.

I have no idea whatsoever as to what Michael O'Sullivans compensation, or 'rendundancy' payment request was.Nor do I care, the fact that anything at all was sought is insulting enough in my book.

Hopefully this might clarify to you, if you read between the lines, as to why a 'certain individual' has to become so involved in other facets of the club, and has the best interests of the club at heart.

I've never intentionally questioned the interests, just the suitability of the alleged, proposed structures. I'm aware that much of it is innuendo and speculation but I haven't got much else to go on really so I'm making the most of what I hear.

I can only stress again that I dearly hope the deal goes through because I know it will benefit the club. However I would feel like I was letting down both the club and myself by not expressing any reservations I may feel. I can play the patsy as well as anybody and if that's really what the new administration wants from their support just let me know. However I would imagine that an interested, intelligent and honest group of fans would be much preferable at any time surely?

Fr. Joe had a big say in who's name went on that lease, and held all the aces in this case.

this is just a question so please dont have a go at me but i thought fr joe was in america now and that the hogan park was owned by mr hogan an american who purchased it with fr joes advice for the people of limerick? ,

last year i heard some people had tried to get the area rezoned for development . but this fell through and now hogan has decided to sell back to lfc as this is the best option .also heard fr joe told lfc they had a 25 year lease on the pitch but this later turned out to be untrue ??

to slk: im not all that well informed i dont have a secret link to the club i just know a few of the players etc plus ive been around lfc for 15 years i was there when big sam was boss ,noel king ,dave o connell ,through fr joe's time , i was there when mos was made chairman by the commity at the time and not self appointed ( how you can self appoint yourself chairman i cant under stand if that was the case id be self appointing myself chairman of real madrid in the morning )and ill be there while the new guys take over too just the same as allways .
just keep my ear to the ground and listen to both sides of every arguement this way you can gain a good perspective on the club and not let rumours cloud your judge ment one way or the other which i feel has happened a few people here !!.

ive no idea how much mos wants if any ,others on here claim he is looking for money maybe they can answer your question better than i .

I'm with Hacker on this one

In the midst of all of this stalin has been accorded the status of a non facist. this raises the unanswered question as to whether communists could be facists. Given limericks socialist leanings i would have thought the tryth would come from there.

The purges and pogroms, the gulags. I suppose if stalin isnt a facist then bertie must be a socialist.

While this is massively off-topic (I'm chastising myself as I type) I'm gonna give my thoughts on this.

Fascist = extreme right wing nut job
Communist = extreme left wing nut job
