A lot of people we never hear about benefit from those tax breaks for the same reasons U2 do. It would be wrong to make fish of one... just cos they make more money at it.

Actually, I like a lot of U2's stuff. I find them overbearing and pompous, but that's a charge that's been levelled against me here a few times!!
But the Corrs? One of the blandest, most annoying, safe, MTV friendly pap that has ever slithered across the music scene. They make me cringe. I mean, The Cranberries had a bit of an edge to them, U2 were U2, The Boomtown Rats may have hated this island but they had some catchy songs, the Undertones were great, Enya had her moments, but of all the successful acts we have churned out the Corrs just embarrassed me. Thousands of years of a proud music heritage turned to the aural equivalent of vomit by a few girls with pretty smiles. Okay, I'm overstating things maybe, but you cannot begin to imagine how much I hate the Corrs.
The Corr girls are not bad to look at but they're bad to listen too.
As for Bono and his poverty work, you see that's it. It's work and he puts a lot of time and effort into it. And for that I give him a lot of praise for at least trying to make the world a little better.
