    from: www.eleven-a-side.com

Galway United have appealed for more investors to join their fund-raising “100 Club” scheme, which will allow it to realize the aims outlined in a three-year Strategic Plan announced recently.

The club is asking individuals or enterprises to pledge Eur100 per month to the club over the next three years, a scheme which would yield an extra Eur360,000 to the club by 2008.

A statement on the club’s website outlines the core objectives of the three-year plan as follows:

    - Create a locally based squad of semi-professional players to which all local players can aspire to
-Secure the financial position of the club going forward
    - Promote the development of soccer in the region at all levels

In return for a three-year commitment to regular investment, the 100 Club members of the Galway will:

    - Feature on all programs printed
    - Feature on a prominent display at Terryland Park
    - Feature on a specially designed section of the club website
    - Receive a regular newsletter by email, with latest Club news
    - 5 Transferable Season tickets
    - Participate in an annual excursion overseas for club members
    - Entry for draw for international tickets for all home games
    - Opportunity for members to promote their goods/services at home games

why the fcuk am I reading this from a non-gufc website?

and, what 3 year fcuking plan annoucement, there was none??

these bunch of w*nkers are more decieving that the last bunch! I call on everyone in the 100 club so far to hold off on paying the club a penny until they have, at the very least, an open forum where they can answer the questions of the concerned supporters and public of Galway.
