First time we've had a home FAI cup semi final since back to back semi's in 1989 & 1990 so hope the weather is good on the day.

Just got my ticket for the semi-final. Guy in the shop said around 250 tickets sold so far out of 700. General sale begins tomorrow at the derry game. How are tickets going up in bray?

If Cork can bring up over 500+ and Bray at best could draw on 2,000+ assuming that the weather is good, I suppose a crowd on the day of 2,500+ with TV coverage is a good turnout.

It will be interesting to see their numbers alright. 1,100 at the quarter final replay in Cork so you're looking for half of them to travel. Sunday should help

We typically travel fairly well on Saturdays and Sundays. We had a decent crowd up there early in the season, I missed the recent game there so not sure what it was like. Bray isn't that far from Cork (relatively speaking) and its an early kick off so no hassle getting home late with work/school the next day.

As far as I know there are 5 fans buses traveling when we'd usually just have the two, so if that is a good gauge of the traveling crowd we should have a decent crowd. Lots will make their own way as well, train/car etc on top of the exiled fans living in Dublin and its surrounds.

The downside for Bray is that we're out in the open and that will put some off, it has tended to rain on recent trips there, many are still talking about the soaking they got last season.

According to Facebook, capacity capped at 2800. 1000 tickets going to Cork - max and 1800 for Bray which seemingly are selling very well! They are saying that there wont be any tickets available on match day and that they are also going to be very strict with segregation. Bray tickets are green and Cork are red - Cork fans with Green tickets will not be allowed in...

Ive been to the Carlisle grounds myself about 20 times and it wouldnt be an exagartion to say it has been freezing plus raining for at least 18 of them!

Still my second favourite away game though! So handy, Train Dublin, Dart Bray, Into the Hibernian and into the ground

The Saturday afternoon move makes it far more appealing to me, normally I'd rank Bray way down the list.

As of Thursday 24th Cork City's allocation of 700 tickets have been sold and Bray have allocated a further 300 tickets to Cork City on request.

The interest from the Bray fans must have eased off so?

Any Bray heads in the know!

Dundalk heads, I've pinged some emails off to the club, but in case I don't hear anything back soonish, as can be the case, do you have a clue if I'll be able to get tickets for the away end on the night? Live in Limerick so will be traveling up from here, would like to know if I'll be able to get in before I make solid plans!

Please and thanks for all your help etc. I'll bring a few bags of tayto.

I think Bray were always spoofing about selling out their share of the gate. They've been "about to sell out" since the morning after the Killester game.

There is no way the game will sell out before kick off. You should be able to pay on the night. I expect the club will confirm this.

Cheers, I'll be up by 6 odd in any case, best be early just in case, never been to Oriel yet. Any good drinking spot, for probably the only Longford man in town pre match?

Have to kept Marty fed and watered this time round, you won't like him when he's hungry.

The best place is Kennedy's opposite the Railway Station, only a few hundred yards from the ground. I'd expect the bars in the ground will be open to Longford fans. They were open to Sligo fans in the last round.

I'd recommend a stand ticket. The away terrace in Oriel is not a place to enjoy a game.
