I'd say a lot of teams will be getting hopeful in the cup this year. Athlone or ourselves could get to the semi-finals by just playing non-league sides as it stands.

We have a home league game against Pats that still needs to be scheduled as well.

The level of confidence I have in the FAI - when Cobh Wanderers were drawn and they said from the Munster Senior League I had to double check that it wasnt Ramblers....

Nuisance of a draw away to Galway but avoiding another battle with Cork and Pats at least. You know your club must be doing well when there are a load of ooohs and ahhs when your team is drawn!

There hasn't been much of a battle between Pats and Dundalk this season when we played, steamrolled us in the 2 league games, at least we took the lead in the Presidents Cup match I suppose..

Cheers for the info lads, any ideas how long it usually takes clubs to decide on venues and times etc? Need to get the days booked off work soon.

Galway away is a bit of a bollx draw for us,Galway are difficult as we have seen recently.Tie of the Round is Cork v Pats. One non league side will be through regardless,Sligom could be the side to step-stone to the final although i'm sure Cobh will have something to say about that. But you can see it now
Cobh W in the third flight of MSL and I am still not confident.

    Probably out this week.
With Donegal losing yesterday, that Sunday is now freed up for the Cockhill match.

    It'll most likely be a 2pm Sunday kick-off.

I'm only guessing, but I'd bet it'll be 2pm on that Sunday in Maginn Park, Buncrana.

if that is the case I am finishing work that day at 8am in Dublin. Not sure if I would make it in time.. Where would be the closest bus stop Letterkenny or Derry?

Derry is probably closer but equally awkward to get to from Buncrana on public transport. 5 hour bus trip from Dublin though Marty, best to find someone willing to drive it as I'd never rely on public transport in Donegal
