I really wonder about some of the decisions made at times at the club and if its Russell making them like it surely is then imo his judgment is dreadful. We turn down Peter Cherrie a goalkeeper with years of experience in this league and who has played at a very good level while in the league and go bring in some unknown Bermudan lad that has had 4 different clubs since the start of 2014 and on top of that from what I am told Darragh Rainsford has had his deal extended if thats true then it is absolutely shocking he has offered nothing to the team in any form at all.

Heard we had a keeper on trial alright. If we have a keeper on trial I would prefer to see Holland given a run of games. Unless we are bringing in an experienced keeper that would be guaranteed to walk straight into the team, I can't see the point in it.

No one really knows. If people think the same starting 11 will be playing again tomorrow night then the crowd will be awful.

With the Limerick hurlers on at 5, tomorrow the crowd will be abysmal, especially after last weeks performance. Williams and Harding suspended for tomorrows game.

Just skipped my mind the hurlers were on the same time. Going to be last few games in Thomond level at MF so. Not like the team has done anything to entice people away from GAA though.

Is Costelloe injured I know he got roasted up in Jackman when he came on as sub for that weapon Harding but surely deserves another chance considering the other fella has been blowing out his arse after 25mins of every game...and after last week could also be brain dead

If Costello is available at this stage I'd like him playing the rest of the season. We are pretty much relegated so may as well give the local lads as many games as possible now. Especially the ones that will most like be part of the first division team next season.

    Hoping for

    Holland

    Costello
    O'Connor
    Price/Whitehead
    Tracey

    Duggy
    Hughes

    Lee Jay
    Prince
    Turner

    Clarke

If we were 90% gone after bray game we are 100% gone now after that shambles tonight and with both bray and sligo winning sligo 3up at HT as I post this.

Pointless wasting money getting in players now it will make no difference whatsoever we are down time to plan ahead

I actually taught we had a chance of winning tonight at ht my god how wrong was I , I knew Lee j Lynch having to go off at ht would be a massive blow but my god that 2ND half showing was a disgrace nothing to do with ability just a serious lack of effort from too many ,if we're tearing our hair out watching Sean Russell imagine how it must feel playing with him when I seen Turner coming on I was ready to cheer Russell was being taken off obvious choice but he takes off o Connor what a farce he was left on for 90 again that was the last straw for me can't see where there going from here down like a lead balloon disaster

I had thought Russell was a good manager but my god he is trying his hardest to prove me wrong.

playing sean russell (the best midfielder in the league..lfc board member) is like a game of chicken between the board and manager...hes looking to be sacked they wont in order not to pay compo. all to the detriment of the club as we hurtle to another decade in the first division. his budget maybe small but remember he brought sean harding, conor o'donnell and his son to this club. these signings alone should ward off any clubs giving Martin russell another job after he parts ways having led us home....to the first division. I firmly believe it was the clubs intension to get relegated this season. going down witout a fight is the most humiliating thing for any supporter of this club after all the years of fight to stay alive.

Performance tonight was a disgrace players were not interested and not good enough, can't blame Russell on hes own we have players that wouldn't get on local junior teams.

Man, I don't know what to make of Russell anymore. It's clear that the team's given up, but you'd think he'd play around with things a bit in terms of line-up at least. This stuff with his son is mortifying to witness. Is this his last job in the game or something?

I wonder how many of the current squad would be kept over for FD next season.

What a two weeks we have had, losing to managerless Bray, tonight to Galway in the ...2 ..big games that all our local experts said would turn our season around,in between we had a highly paid and obviously secure manager announcing to all and sundry that while the graveyard division is just around the corner we will only be there for a season, omg you could not make it up,the easy ride our present boss is getting is beyond belief.this game in particular was a shambles for him in that it showed that work done on the training ground is not adequate...this team cannot defend..it can keep possession, pass alright but in all the wrong areas, the subs made ..positioning really poor.the players themselves should be ashamed of themselves albeit the three kids who were not the worst ie 2 centre halfs and keeper[mom] but lets face it their more esteemed playing buddies hung em out to dry.for the record 21 games ....NO WIN ...FFS

I[/QUOTE]gael ,it does matter what position hughes is put in,he is around long enough to put in a better shift than that and his carry on when subbed was a disgrace, lynch ,flaherty, russell were were,n far behind him,its obvious our better ones duggan and clarke are losing confidence and faith with what is going on around them, actually thought o connor was doing ok and would never have moved or subbed him.Russell has not changed anything, appoach, shape, backroom team or himself ..its just all too cosy.
