great win - get to see nearly every game here for FREE at the moment (setanta launching)!

thought Arteta was immense with Carsley. Lescott was a great signing too.

im a little worried that Pienaar and Jagielka arent featuring in starting line-ups yet but when we're playing like we are i guess its gonna be hard to break into that midfield.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Credit where credit is due :spits: the Evertonians did a good job last night. Spurs are a bit of a mess but Everton still had to go out and do the job, so fair play.

However, the bitters that are going on about a definite top 3 finish and a tilt at the title are a bit premature in my eyes.

I think ill wait untill after the 3rd game at least , still not as bad as the liverpool fans thinking that THIS IS OUR YEAR to challenge for the tittle before a ball is kicked .

Well its a good tactic by moyes that no one is garunteed a first team place, that you won't just walk into the team and looking at last night they have a fight on there hands . On current form Ossy carsley ( again fantastic ) and arteta won t loose there spot . Even Neville did well by his own standards .

But its a long season with knocks mid week cup games etc they will all be needed . Dissspointed that VDM wasnt on the bench though hope its not anything gone wrong with his kid .

Manny is finishing his medical this morning and with personal terms finalised with him, Benfica and GSI he should be registered in time to be eligible for Reading tomorow .

    Call the weekend results!

Im actually firmly believe we are stronger than Chelsea at the mo. Terry coming back is a major boost for the chavs but I still think we will win 2-1.

Bitters wont lose at Reading. Reading are struggling and will struggle to score against the bluenose defensive in its current form. I have a feeling Everton might sneak it 2-1 but playing safe I will predict a 1-1.

Yakubu left out of the boro squad, only a matter of time now before he is an everton player. I'm not 100% sure about him but I'll trust Moyes to get the bset out of him.

To think some people were complaining or slagging off Moyes cos he wouldn't pay ridiculous money for average players like Koumas, Richardson etc

Barring any last minute hitches we will have brought in Jagieka, Baines, Pienarr, Yakubu and Fernandes. That is a very good summers work by Moyes. Today's squad is totally incomparable to the one in place when Moyes took over. He has totally turned our club around.

It's hard not to get very excited about how we could do this season now, there is nobody that will look forward to playing us, that is for sure.

As for this weekend, i think i see draws all round, we'll draw at Reading and i think two draws on Sunday as well

Why would people be worried about playing you? You dont turn into world beaters in the space of a few games. Agree with you that Citeh and mancs will be a draw.

Why wouldn't they be worried about playing us? We finished 6th last season and since then have shipped out a lot of crap and brought in some really good players. In people like Arteta, Johnson, Lescott, Yobo and Howard, we already had some top class players. We went to the side who supposedly were going to break into the top 4 and comprehensively outplayed them and still have people like cahill and vaughan to come back from injury.

I'm trying very hard not to get carried away but this could be a very good season for us

Alan Kelly would've laughed at that one
    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

It was never a peno. Malouda clearly jumped over the ball before your man clattered into him. No foul. It wasn't a dive either as some Liverpool fans were suggesting.

However, I'll always take a point from any game where we didn't deserve anything.

Malouda clearly jumped into Finnan and fouled him- it should have been a free out. Drogba was offside too.

It was never a penalty, we all know the but we only have ourselves to blame for not getting a 2nd goal. We were all over them in the first half. Torres was excellent. Highlight of the day was the John Terry song.

I prefer my conspiracy theory. Utd. have never lost a game when Styles has been the ref. The best result for Utd. yesterday, after losing, was a draw. Low and behold Styles awrds a farcical penalty. If only I could show you my shifty accusiing eyes after dreaming that one up.
