That was an ok result nothing to get too worked up about it was only the red****e we have a much harder fixture this weekend with wigan visiting !.

where is all that talk of title contenders ?? what a joke they where out played out fought & out classed .

thats 7 points taken from 3 of last years top 6 teams . 4 in 4 for AJ another clean sheet for Howard yobo and Lescott , Hibbert back from injury & the pride of the city restored..... its looking good for the Blues

its not looking good for VDM he hasnt figured this season at all i think moyes has had his fill of him now id love to see him buckle down and force his way into the team .

More too it than that. Liverpool looked a very poor side. Fowler is so past it its unbelievable. Crouch is useless. Yeah he scores against Andorra and Macedonia but I'd fancy my chances in those games. Liverpool only came into the game after Everton were already two up. That was because Everton play like that in big games. They let the opposition have the ball, soak up the pressure and play on the counter attack through Cahill, Arteta and Osman. Liverpool had only two real clear-cut chances in the game. Everton had four. Liverpool didn't finish off their chances, Everton did. Posession means nothing if you don't make something of it. As for Reina being quality lmfao! Another dodgy keeper in the true Liverpool tradition!
If I was Benitez, from now on I'd start with Kuyt and when fit Bellamy because Crouch and Fowler are woefull.

Now how does that humble pie taste?

lets look at the facts shall we

    Everton Team Name Liverpool
    3 Goals 0
    4 Shots on target ( Inc Goals ) 4
2 Shots off Target (inc woodwork) 14
    2 Blocked Shots 2
    2 Corners Won 11
    23 Total Fouls Conceded 14
    3 Offsides 4
    1 Yellow Cards 3
    0 Red Cards 0
    48% Possession 52%

looks like possession is pretty much the same , shots on target the same , Fouls thanks to Graham "kopite"poll who was so biased even the kopites beside us where laughing at it , gave every little thing to liverpool. even when a liverpool defender pushed AJ he gave liverpool a free for it

shots off target show our defence and midfield restricted liverpool to long range efforts all day which rarely troubled howard .

goals 75% strike rate !!!! speaks for its self

to sum up our defence & keeper where better our attackers where better and our midfield was better , our manager got his selection +tactics right where as rafa got it arseways Charrager , fowler crouch and garcia shouldnt have started . he got it all wrong .

pretty safe to say Everton where the better team .

Plus Belamy has allready thrown the rattle out of the pram didnt even make into the squad, no injury, no reason for his absence ????

Eh? No penalty for a blatant hand ball, no foul on Alonso when Cahill hauled him to the ground before Johnson scored. Get real for god sake. I know you are starved of derby success so I can excuse your OTT analysis.

Let them have their day, sat was depressing but their fans really are pathetic little bitter blue _______. It just wasnt our day, we could have scored a hatful in truth. Shameful to hear the park end blues with their michael shields songs in the 2nd half. No surprise that there was no trouble after the game. Only seems be trouble when everton lose!!!

Wait until xmas, we will be top 3 and they will be mid table where they belong.

Penalty my @rse. I had a great view of that incident from where I was sitting and not one red I spoke to afterwards claimed it was a penalty. That speaks volumes.

    Typical Blue ****e!!!

2 clear penalty claims a clear pulling the shirt and dragging to the ground and then the other little ****** clearly pulling his arm to the ball in box.

If they were'nt penalties! what are?

Poll gave every 50-50 ball Liverpool's way.
On your penalty claim, It happened right in front of me. The ball rolled up his side. It would have been the second harshest penalty of the season so far if given. None of the Koppites I spoke to in Liverpool after the game moaned about this. Stop clutching at straws, stop moaning and take your beating like a man. Rafa got it wrong. Moyes got it right. AJ was better than Crouch and Fowler combined. Thats fact.

Sour grapes. Liverpool are the most over-rated team in the league. There'll be no title challenge thats for sure. Learn from Casso's embarrasment and stop making outrageous claims based on your biased red view of the world.

Well you better get your eyesight checked!!!
He clearly pulls arm towards ball, so clear penalty.

Please don't try and tell me that the haul down in box was'nt a penalty! as you'd have to be graham poll not to see it!! i would'nt call 24 attemps at goal getting it wrong!! Just one of those days!! Like the blue ****e have most weeks!!!

Typical sad Koppite response. Arrogant to the extreme then when you lose you throw your rattle out of the pram.

No it doesn't, it was a penalty plain and simple and that is that. You have no argument here, to say it wasn't is just ridiculous.

I saw it in the flesh and later on TV it is not a penalty. Do you go to games regularly either here or in England? That type of ball to arm in the situation where the player is on the ground is rarely given. You don't sound like someone who goes to football. He slid in to get the ball, ball rolled up his side more or less into the armpit. Your clutching at straws.

Us Everton fans should not be getting excited at all !

We were **** really !!!! Liverpool only lost because they didn't take their chances and should have had several penos.
Pool's squad were tired after international games so anyway its a one off occasion

So all in all we had a crap weekend and should count our blessings !!!!
