Ahem, the beanpole hasn't got 5, never mind 10 goals yet.

This is like Ted saying to Dougal in the caravan, "goalscorer"......."influence" x2.

Throws Subbuteo Crouch on floor, "Ah, forget it".

    Foot.ie! Van facing Derby pain!

I think it's fair to say that Everton's next three games may prove crucial to the outcome of their season. The last two results haven't been good but i'm remaining optimistic that things will change for the better.

    Villa (a)
    Pool (h)
    Sunderland (a)

I'm hoping Everton will take at least 5 points from those three games and begin 2006 with a bang!

i think its time weir got dropped thats 2 games and 2 goals he has cost us , kroldrop is a quality player very similar to yobo and likes to pass it out of defence rather than lob it long like weir .

a new striker is needed but reports of 3 mill in the xmas kitty it does nt look likely to get any one proven, hope fully well pick up that icelandic kid he is banging them in .

the next few games are so important with yobo going to the african nations cup we need to get some points on the board . need a good performance v villa then im off to the derby after xmas to throw abuse at that lanky streek of p is s

    Thumbs up Hmmmmmm...

    LONDON, Dec 19 (AFP)

    - Australian international Tim Cahill admitted on Monday that Everton’s season, which began with Champions League aspirations but has descended into a relegation dogfight, is an "embarrassment". David Moyes’ men suffered their worst home defeat for 12 years, a 4-0 humiliation by Bolton on Saturday which followed last Wednesday’s 2-1 home defeat by West Ham.
"We are embarrassing ourselves," said Cahill.
Everton’s 2005 record makes worrying reading.
In the last 12 months they have won just 14 games in all competitions and only 11 wins in 35 league matches. Now Everton’s stars accept that the tide has to turn over the holiday period or they will be facing a relegation battle in 2006.

Just thought that would be appropriate here..although a few days late...

that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

    Crouch 1-0 Owen.........

Not even a hint of a chance for a €25m striker...

    Score Correction:

    Crouch 0-0 Owen.

    Liverpool 2-0 Newcastle
    Gerrard, Given (og)

You'll have to come up with better than that.

Ah now in fairness, I know teletext has it as an OG, but surely thats Crouch's goal.

Rooney goal against the Swiss last year anyone.....?

Or maybe the question again (with mypost again, that is) is how much of a touch is an og by a keeper and how much isn't? Are we talking about 26% of the hand? Or 12% of the foot - anything above that is an og?

FTR, Crouch's header was initially touched onto the post by Given. The ball then went in via Given's head. OG.

Really? Here was me thinking he scored a hatrick against West Ham last week. Did he put them in the net by magic? Surely he "touched the ball" no?
