again rubbish from a liverpool fan , maybe a move to everton would improve him the way its worked for kilbane or cahill moving to everton , or perhaps it would be best going to liverpool like babb and kewell collymore heskey etc etc .
slag our "long ball style" ( this proves you have nt watched us all year coz we dont play long ball anymore ) all you want we won 4 nil while liverpool got beatin by man city

ive been raving about this kids for ages , and the best thing is he isnt the best in the acadamy we still have the duo of hopkins and fowler to come through plus another 4 to 6 decent players , our reserve squad now has 13 under 18's in it

Yeah i have read and know a few people who have seen them and rate them quite highly. But i wouldn't look too deep into any reserve team players. If you look at the likes of M.Branch and Cadamateri who were outstanding at reserve level but didn't seem to be able to cross over into the Prem. too well.
I don't think Rooney ever played a reserve game for Everton ?

According to Sky Sports last week, the three teams that play the most number of long balls were:

    3. Bolton
    2. Man Utd
    1. Liverpool

However, I do think that Everton will do well to finish in a UEFA spot next year, as I just can't see them keeping this form over an entire season without a Gravesen-esque player to push them on.
My other posts are intelligent and witty. This one is an exception.

would you look at that looks like 4to the floor slagging evertons long ball style has embarresed himself yet again

well our midfield is mainly newcomers artetta , cahill , and osman its there first year in prem football and they are finally starting to click , it all depends if bolton can catch us to get 4th spot , but it still wont affect our transfer budget of 30 mill , considering what moyes done this year with 2.4 mill he should do well with 30 mill , plus the young acadamy players are unreal it will be similar to the situation utd had with all the youngsters coming through

According to Sky Sports last week, Jose Mourinho ate an egg and 2 slices of toast for breakfast..........FFS I'd like to see a source for those stats. It must be said though that there is a major difference between a long, accurate sweeping pass from someone like Alonso\Gerrard and a big hoof to nothing\Dunc the drunk from Alan Stubbs....

The rumour was humble pie, but apparantly Mourinho has never tasted it in his life. Here's hoping it happens sooner rather than later, starting tonight in Munich.

    Talking Everton 1 ManUre 0

What a result!! That man Duncan Ferguson once again. Three points at home to Birmingham saturday and we'll surely have champions league football next season at Goodison under the genius that is David Moyes. I won't get carried away just yet but this result is a huge one- both mathamatically and physologically.

    Scousers United

Congratulations on beating the red-and-blacks last night, although you only won because they didn't give a monkeys. Once they can't win the title, they don't care whether they win or lose. Don't get carried away at having a game in hand on us either, it's at Arsenal!! Home banker!!

Great results for both merseyside teams last night but it's still advantage toffees with only a few games left, the 'pool will have to win the Champs league to condemn Everton to the uefa cup even if they finish fourth.

Everton be happy with any kind of european football next season to distract them from the relegation battle that they'll be back in.

It really even is Evertons now no question. Even though I myself personally have been resigned to the fact for a while now.
They fully deserve it, a performance of blood & guts last night and even though Utd didn't seem too interested, they got the job done.

Everton will drop points, the problem is Liverpool won't win all of their games. It's Liverpool's own fault, the amount of points they have thrown away this season is ridiculous. Even in victory last night, the amount of chances they missed was a joke. It's not the end of the world if we don't make it, the critical aspect of Liverpool's future is in the summer transfer market - who leaves and who joins. I'm expecting wholesale changes and a new Liverpool next season. Led by the best midfielder in the premier by a country mile - Xabi Alonso You have to say well done to Everton though, although it's not over yet....

BTW, did anyone think that Chelsea looked a little jaded against Arsenal? I thought they looked tired and lacked the usual zip that they have had over the last few months. Especially Lampard and Duff. We're looking good with Alonso, Cisse and Hyypia looking fresh.....

thats probibly down to lamps and duff playing all season while the liverpool boys are just back from having there feet up .

i belive liverpool will be back next year they do have class players and a very good manager and they needed a season to settle into it which we have taken avantage of but still i dont buy into this everton are only there coz liverpool were rubbish this year , we have sat in the top 4 since september ( over 7 months now ) thats not a fluke . and what did liverpool get champs league with last year around 60 points , everton are on 57 with 5 games left . we'll beat brum in goodison on sat and garuntee ourselfs europeen football next year .(top 7 get euro footy this year)
