Or why they have been looking for investment for the last 5 years, then what would we know, unsubstantiated Everton rumours are more believable right?

Very good, I even gave you time to edit itOriginally Posted by anto1208
Now stay with me here but do you think it's possible that the club regularly made a loss due to transfer fees paid?

thats called your "profit after player trading " and this isnt included .Originally Posted by drinkfeckarse
Everton made a profit of 1.4 mill last season if you include your after player trading as you seem to do there profit was 23.5 mill (most profitable club in the country) , but since you cant garuntee that kind of income every year it isnt included . Liverpool registered a loss outside there player trading .ie the company Liverpool FC made no money ( wages running costs etc far outweighted there income from tv rights and prize money ) yet another 30 odd mill has been stumped up by the board
The toffee's are considering a number of options some of which are outside the city bounds , the refurbisment of Goodison not really an option and with liverpool city council pushing for a stadium share with the red****e Evertons only option may be to leave the city .
Everton offered move to KirkbyMay 31 2006
EXCLUSIVE by Sam Lister Daily Post Staff
KNOWSLEY council has offered Everton FC three prime development sites on which to build a new stadium.
Executives at the local authority are involved in a sustained attempt to tempt the club out of Liverpool to the Kirkby area.
Kirkby's municipal golf course is one of the sites the club have been offered, along with nearby land next to Kirkby sports centre on Valley Road, both close to motorway access from the M57.
It is believed Knowsley would provide the land needed either free or at a much reduced rate, so keen are they to attract a prestige deal which would prove a massive boost to the area's economy and reputation.
Do the words overdraft mean anything to you....the board just club together and hand the manager millions of poundsIt is stumped up by the bank.
It is classed as club funds and is repayable to the clubs bank. The difference between Moores and Abramovich is that the latters' is all classed as personal loans to Chelski which is why they show as almost £200m in debt. Realistically they don't have any way of paying this back to him so ultimately Abramovich will either write this off of the club will go bust should he try to recover his outlay. This is the only way that Chelsea will realise their aim of being profitable within 5 years.
Moores runs Liverpool as a club and a business, Abramovich runs Chelsea as his latest toy.

how does the coversation go
LFC : can we have an overdraft of 30 mill
BB: Sure as long as you can show how you ll pay it back
LFC : we will use the profits we make during the next year .
BB: ok seems fine how much profit do ye make
LFC : -2 mill
BB : surely owing us 30 mill and earning -2 mill will put you in debt of 32 mill
LFC : i cant see how
BB: well ok then that all seems fine here you go![]()
If only life was a simple as that...and you as it seems. Do you have inside knowledge into Liverpools banking details?Originally Posted by anto1208

Annual review of last year. Note " net debt remains at a controllable level of £17.1m despite the ongoing level of change resulting from squad strengthening.
He still cannot seem to comprehend that Liverpool are actively looking for investment. I doubt financial facts will help him
I know. As I've previously mentioned Anto likes to think he's "intelligent" yet his spelling and punctuation defy his probable age.

so after this season there will be a £40 mill drop in income .(estimate loss of 2 mill +40 mill =42 mill ) looks like david will have to dip in again to fund the purchase of more players his uncle must be spinning !!.
because he cant keep bailing ye out , chelsea are also looking for investment that means nothing .Originally Posted by Roadend

I just find it funny his complete lack of knowledge of the workings of a football club, not to mention the fact that David Moore's personal fortune is nowhere near enough to keep paying for purchases year on year.
Risdale, Richardson, Murray and Bates must have been billionairres, I can't imagine the banks funding their yearly spending sprees that they went through, oh wait......
After landing Johnson for 8.6 mill Moyes has nt stopped spending yet , Everton last night has an undisclosed fee accepted for Joleen Lescott by Wolves (reading had a 4.5 mill bid turned down last week ) .
thats the 3rd major signing of the transfer window and underlines the ambition of the manager &and fans that is now being matched by the board who have stumped up 30 mill in the last 18 months .
Nice one Bill the season ticket renewal is in the post roll on august![]()
Lescott has to undergo a second harder medical over his knee ( he was kneecapped by gangsters 2 years ago missed Wolves full season in the prem league) to make sure it will hold up in the long term .
