It's Big Dunc isn't it?
To the tune of Jason Byrne and Sweden/Poland:
"For all the threat of progress,
For all the threat of progress,
For all the threat of progress,
They still bring Big Dunc on"

that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Pity they didn't lob a few more up to him, they might have got two more to earn a draw, both home and away.........Originally Posted by anto1208

On a more sombre note, I'd like to mention that today is the 17th anniversary of one of football's greatest tragedies at Hillsborough. 96 innocent fans left home on a sweltering afternoon to see what they hoped would be a victory for Liverpool over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup semi-final. Those 96 people never returned home.
My prayers are with those 96 fans and their families on this day and let's hope justice will eventually prevail.

That still sticks with me , there was a lovely memorial at goodison this week dont think the city can ever get over it .
reminds people again of reasons not to buy the sun after there reporting in the following days , pitty more people dont snub the paper in the same way liverpool and everton fans do .
i know the two clubs have a friendly rivalry ,but im glad to see them sticking together on the stuff that really matters .
we have to look after our little brother no matter how annoying he becomes![]()
I was in Goodison on Saturday and they did not have a minutes silence. Any one know why this was.

A liverpool cabbie said to me on Saturday that all the Everton fans in Liverpool have no tan as they are always in the shadow of Liverpool.

Back to slagging Everton. Anto, where are all these fantastic young players you were harping on about? I remember saying to you that you can't count on youngsters as a lot of them fail to make it when the chips are down, while others get injured and never get back to their schoolboy promise/ability. There was one or two on the verge of first team/squad, while a few more others were younger. What of the former two, where are these brilliant players.
anthony Gerrard was let go due to a"personal problem" .peter clarke was also left go not sure why as he was quite talented
Hopkins is in the reserve team playing tonight .
JP Kissock (liverpool young sports personality of the year) has just turn 16 and can now be signed up to play in the prem league , he is a resserve team regular playing tonight .
ian turner and victor anichbe have all gotten first team football this term .
bjarni Vidarsson is a ressie regular and now icelandic international aswell .
scott Phelan made his england under 18 debut this week scoring the winner in a 2-1 win after only 11 mins on the pitch .
Lee molyneux is progressing well at left back ,and Mark huges is still captaining the side .
with the expected signing of scot spencer the 16 year old wonder kid from oldam for 1/4 mill this week we have a very good bunch of under 18's . of which turner ,Vidarsson, Anichbe,Kissock should start appearing in the first team squad next year . if 5 or 6 from moyes's youth programe come through it will do very nicely indeed .

Get In You Mighty Fcukin Reds!!!!!!
Let's hope the game against steau goes all the way to penos tonight and it should affect them for saturday. Six points from the remaining two games could secure a top half finish which would represent a tremendous turnaround considering the position moyes' men were in before xmas.
And of course best wishes to Tony Hibbert who has undergone a hernia operation. If you're reading this- Get well soon Hibbo!
