I'm a bit worried we haven't enough experience of winning games from these positions. The lads need to keep their heads, believe in themselves and get a bit of luck.

big sweaty ball sack
Some optimism: they don't have the pressure of a whole 45 minutes in the lead now.
In off the statue.
Unlucky.
We should shift it somewhere safer.
Jocks rolling around doing Busquet impressions is starting to do my nut in.
That's an excellent save from Given
"Watching" this on the plane. Nerves are gone.
Attack the fupping ball Murphy!
McClean on is a good move I think. Maybe time for Long? Come on Ireland!!!
Brady puts in a great cross, after several bad corners, so he has found his form, but the hendrick takes the next corner???
Keane for Hoolahan is a good idea? This remind anyone of the Swiss match at home under Kerr?
Pinned in our own half
Well that was a ****e 2nd half. Never looked like losing but never looked like winning either. 3rd is the best we can hope for.
Early equaliser killed us, and screwed up whatever plan we had for the half - we looked like we didn't have a plan after that.
We never regained the energy and superiority we had in the first. It was fairly level throughout the half - neither team did much.
The last 10 minutes were woeful. When we really needed quick attacking play, we were ponderously passing round the back.
We are out.
Pretty sickening. Good to see some better football but concede a horrible goal and that's that.
I was surprised to see Hoolahan come off - with Keane making his intelligent runs and Long's pace, I thought we could have used him.
Not that we deserved to win but we could have won with a bit of luck. Small margins. Two mediocre teams, Scots appreciated space and the ball better. O'Neill seems to believe that all we have is huff and puff, so all we get is huff and puff. If huff and puff is all we can deliver then I can manage that team. Lads, play hard, show some passion, get the ball in the box. Simple. I'd do it for 100k.
