    u2 concert in croker 2005

does any1 know when they are possibly playing next summer...
and more importnantly, any indicaions when the tickets go on sale..
i'd say the tickets could go on sale similar to the methods deployed for the 2nd gig in slane the last time....ie announce it 2-3 hours ahead of release...

The back of the stage area would normally be at that end, so you won't be watching from Hill 16.

have been looking around at a few differ websites, and came up with this:

    this one is from u2world.com

    NME : U2 TICKET MYSTERY
    [ 7th/10/2004 ]

    Source : NME

U2 representatives have taken action to stop an internet shop selling tickets for a tour the band claim is not happening.

Earlier this week it was possible to buy tickets online for huge stadium shows in Dublin (Croke Park, June 26-27), London (Twickenham Park, July 2) and Paris’ Stade De France (early July, 2005).

However, the tickets - which ranged in price from £125 to £295, were removed when the site received a "letter" refuting the dates.

John Giddings, the band’s live booker, told NME.COM that the band had not confirmed anything.

"There have been no decisions taken," he said. "There are no venues confirmed, there are no ticket prices confirmed."

Giddings said "every venue in the world" was being looked at for an upcoming tour, but could not say when an announcement would be made about that tour. He also said he would be "very surprised" if ticket prices were as high as those advertised on the website.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the online agency said the dates had been confirmed to them, but after receiving a "letter" they had withdrawn the tickets from sale.

Rumours of U2 shows in Croke Park, Dublin, have been circulating for several months.

    -------------------------------

then i found loads of websites [http://www.theonlineticketshop.com/s...vent_id=23476] selling tickets for the gig, but we have been addvised not to buy them.
