Johnny is the guy who used to run the old Eircom Message Board is it? I think someone said before that the McDonnell fella was a forum member on that old message board.

Correct on both counts. I started my LOI forum days on there too, as did a few of the other old timers on here. Still recognise some names from there when they pop up on Twitter sometimes.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

I think starting the league on a rest weekend of the 6 Nations has been a good idea. It freed up media coverage to focus on the LoI. I'm not sure it was planned by the powers that be. I've been saying for years that the league should start on such a weekend. However they came upon it, it's worked out.

Isn't 'Friendly Derby' something of an oxymoron ?

It also makes it sound like its just a friendly match, which would hardly draw a crowd/set the pulses racing.

We have this coming up as well but are not holding it at Finn Park for some reason.

Yeah down at the academy grounds. It's a bit strange, and also on a day that kids are back at school.

If you could all vote form Harps on this we'd really appreciate it: https://twitter.com/FPLHints/status/1026912146616135681

Winning would get us some extra exposure in the Fantasy Football community and boost entries to our fantasy league. Every little helps!

The guy agreed to support both clubs as it ended up 50-50. Thanks to all who helped out by voting for us. Was a close one!
