Collins threw in a nice one the other night. Fahey was talking about having no regrets and that he had played in the biggest league in the world. Collins then says ' and you played in the Premier league too'.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

He reminds me of a football reporter in Galway who clearly has no interest in the game when he's not being paid to be interested in it.
He has always been professional but it is clear he is not really into Sports at all. Few of them like that in RTE. Con Murphy leaving was a loss for the show.
I just want him to speak like a normal human man.

Stephen O Donnell did well I think on soccer republic last night. A talented player who was let go by Bohs and Shamrock R during his time in the league of Ireland. Hard to believe that he even spend a season with a Séan Connor managed Galway Utd, where it was clear to any regular at Terryland that he should really be with a club challenging for trophies instead.
He's won league titles with three teams and playing in the Europa League group stages. You're talking about him as if nobody's ever rated him until now.
Its only ever been injuries that have held him back but as you say, league winner with 3 different clubs so clearly rated by many
